@WogglebugLover ,If you hate this website so much why did you spend 8 years coming here, restarting interest in you as a lolcow every time you do? This thread would have long ago stopped noticing you if you didnt constantly engage with it and fallen into irrelevance. Sometimes, it slips onto page two or even three and no one is interacting with it and then you appear unbidden and restart it. You clearly crave our attention on some level even if its subconscious. Is it because this is the only human interaction and feedback you get outside of your long suffering family caretakers? Is it because you know people are more likely to discover your work through here than your own personal website?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Melodramatically threatening to tear down your own youtube channel because of one little miscommunication on your part seems a little extreme, no?
I never said I was going to do any such thing. I just said I will prefer to not publicly show the feature films on Youtube until this website is taken down.

@Bubble Ba'ath I actually just come here out of force of habit. And even if I stopped coming here altogether, it's obvious that you or others would still be posting my new Youtube uploads and community posts on here. And I guess another reason why I come here is to just make it loud and clear to you all I AM NEVER GIVING UP ON MY DREAM.

For awhile wed still follow you of course, but thats because youve given us 8 years of material. But I never even heard of you before a year and a half ago and a big part of the appeal is your constant engagement. I imagine back when this thread started far less people were interested in cataloguing your antics but you gave them more and more material to work with.

Force of habit seems a bit of a cop out excuse though. There must be some reason for the force of habit. You found this thread in like a day after it was created which implies you google yourself every day. You still hate people you had one or two negative interactions with online 15 years ago. Do you believe this is normal human behavior?

I actually found this thread when I received an email from someone on here who gave me a link to it saying I was famous on here. Before I was here I was on the WhyGodWhy Forums.

And it was far more than one or two negative interactions online with people I never should have got involved with to begin with.

I don't think anyone expects you to give up. Some people here who are jealous just want you to give up because seeing your work makes them feel like losers in comparison.

As an aside -- what if Mr. Wogglebug and the Beetle Princess had a son, and the son grew up to be gay? Would they still love and accept him, or would they reject him because of his lifestyle choice?

That is exactly what I think also. Thanks for agreeing with me.

I'm sure they would still love and accept a gay son. I actually plan for Wogglebug and the Beetle Princess to have two sons.

Why else would Wogglebug reply they were more like “step brothers” in a flirty fashion when Frogman said they were brothers?
"Step brothers - that way it's not illegal"
And Sylvie grows up in her world and stays there. I won't give away what she grows up to be right now.
Is it ... A man? Does she have a sex change?

Hey Cherie, 100% serious question: if you're so dead set on keeping your 'franchise' G-rated and wholesome and inoffensive in the eyes of parents and kids, why are you using a public domain character in the first place? That opens you up to us making NSFW parodies of your Wogglebug interpretation and you can't do anything about it, since the Wogglebug as an entity is public domain and we have as much right to the character as you do. This might lead parents who aren't familiar with D-list Wizard of Oz characters (especially since you've stripped away all the other Oz content from the character) to think that you have some sort of involvement in this adult-oriented content, and make them think your franchise has a bunch of deranged pervs as fans.

Since you've already changed everything about the character BUT his name anyway, and since you aren't averse to spending tons of other people's money on stupid shit, why not change his name, make him a fully unique character and copyright him so that, in theory at least, you'd have some sort of recourse from people making unlicensed, adult-oriented recreations of you work? Bill Watterson who created Calvin and Hobbes is famously protective of his intellectual property, and he's able to do that because he owns the copyrights for his unique, original characters. If his award winning comic strip had featured public domain characters he'd be powerless to stop people.

I like his name and prefer to keep it. I also did keep his backstory of his origin much the same as it was in Oz only now it takes place in Genoma. Because I wanted to and like them as they are. And as far as I am concerned, I have indeed kept his personality the same as it was in his original book he first appeared in. Regardless of what anyone says. And I just decided a long time it was my destiny to give Wogglebug a better life than the one he had in Oz, and I love him so much I believed I knew it was best for it to be like he wasn't in Oz to begin with. And even if suppose I wanted to change those things altogether (which I don't) I am sure it's too late now. I've sold 200+ copies of the movies and am on the third one going on to the fourth soon. So basically, the ship has already set sail.

So... this has consumed your thoughts for almost three decades?

That's a long time to be obsessed with something, anything really.

Did something bad happen to you in a Church when you were about the same age? Just a guess, could be wildly wrong.
Actually, something bad did happen to me in a church shortly after I turned 18.

That's nice to hear.

On a completely different note, @WogglebugLover, what are your favorite non-Oz books?

Actually, something bad did happen to me in a church shortly after I turned 18.
:heart-empty:

To be fair, copyrighted characters can still be used in parody. So, even if Mr. Wogglebug were copyrighted, someone could still -- for example -- create a parody in which Mr. Wogglebug operates a concentration camp gas chamber while simultaneously flying an airliner into the World Trade Center.
