In short pretty much, and even then it's hilariously pathetic. When the other side spent months toppling statues, blockading railways, burning churches to the ground, and literally throwing themselves in front of highway traffic, attempting to suddenly equate putting signs and scarves on Canadian idols and indulging in peaceful patriot displays to "muh democracy don't touch" and "it's a Russian conspiracy" won't get too much traction amongst the average Canadian.
