But really? I wish I could say I'm surprised at this, but to be honest, I'm really not. I can admit I enjoyed Adam's content when I was younger, but I was also a stoner who thought poop jokes were comedy gold. The thing that really kind of soured me to Adam was the stuff surrounding both SetoSorcerer and KermitPlaysMC. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned, but it seemed to me like making videos should be indicative of one's style and for the pure fun of it as opposed to getting money. Don't misunderstand me, money's nice and all but at some point, you gotta stick up for your friends, if they matter to you. But it was just watching how people turned... ugly towards Seto or making fun of Kermit's voice despite Adam preaching that love and harmony bullshit that made me realize that maybe I shouldn't be as invested in the lives of the internet nobodies who will never know my name.
Dawn was pretty much out of the loop for a lot of Adam's videos, so I'm not too sure what happened there; however, she has mentioned that she does indeed have a story to share just that she won't share it at the moment due to being pregnant and stress being bad on the baby. I get that and I respect it. However, I seem to recall Adam said in an off-hand comment that he and Dawn used to hit each other. I never understood why people were so hateful to Alesa until I had seen several of Adam's tweets and at the time it struck me as a vengeful ex using their child as a hostage and so it got to me as a man. However, I will never for the life of me understand how in the world one can look at Adam's "diss" tracks to KSI as being instrumental in getting custody of Mason.
In hindsight, we probably should've paid closer attention to KSI's diss track since a lot of what Elizabeth talked about is also mentioned in "Adam's Apple" as well. I have to wonder now, with not only Elizabeth's story but Adam's former friends and associates coming out of the woodwork to share their own experiences just how bad Dawn and Alesa were treated too? One person mentioned Alesa went into OnlyFans, but honestly? Who gives a rotten fuck? Does one's profession make their story any less valid?
On the other hand, I also have to wonder if this is some ProJared shit where we're all ready to crucify Adam only for information to come out that paints Elizabeth in a bad light?
