Average cat life expectancy is 15-20 years as an fyi.View attachment 2945461
I guess the cat typing on adam's keyboard saga shall come to an end soonPoor cat.
It is incredibly disgusting that he took the cat home instead of euthanizing. Because the average owner does not brush their pet's teeth, a tooth or teeth infection tends to spread down into the gum/jaw quickly. The solution is pulling or filing down (the gum will reabsorb the root) the tooth/teeth, and this requires anesthesia, so, a vet isn't going to want to do it with an elderly animal, as it's much more likely they will not wake up.
So, you have a cat that is in so much pain it is not eating. It is doomed to starve or die from complications when the infection reaches the bloodstream. All of this in serious pain. The humane and kindest thing to do is to let that animal go. I very much understand that is a difficult decision to make. I get that people love their pets- I have my own I love. But loving a pet means doing what is best for them and not allowing them to suffer because you can't accept they're at the end of their life.
Adam- I know you and your tampons read this thread. Do the right thing for your cat. For once in your life have some fucking compassion.
