Nah he's not hurting for money he just thinks he deserves a certain amount. He griped this much when he was making 16k a month because he thought he deserved what he made when he was on youtube. He gripes now because he thinks he deserves what he made when he was on twitch etc.

A tutorial counts as gameplay, but it's obviously not nearly as interesting as the rest of the game, and he gives no though to it killing the momentum and interest because he's stupid enough to think that HE carries those things in his streams. Pay no mind to his blaming the game when he isn't making money, that still counts as him crediting himself for being entertaining, he's declaring the game to be a boat anchor weighing him down, essentially. He just sounds like he's having it both ways because his communication skills are shit, and he's too stupid to realize how he comes across.
So as much as it may seem otherwise at first glance, his decreasing of time spent actually playing a game isn't a long-term plan he has been on for years. He has been killing the momentum in his streams, but doesn't know it, he's just running more and more from legit gameplay out of an increasing dislike for the charade. It has cost him a lot of money over the years, and he has no idea.

Why doesn't he just stream it all day? Do the 4 hour premier stream, eat, start the dying light 2 late stream. Its not like he's bogging himself down with new releases yet. And this is the easiest way to get new viewers AND make progress No. Instead we make a retarded schedule that consumes all our time and wastes the viewers.

Definitely, the game has Streamer Mode, which most streamers that played the game already knows. If Phil didn't turn on that mode, things will definitely spice up into laughs, even to paypigs (somehow).
Goddamn if he didn't finish the tutorial segment, it is going to be horrendously laughable for how much of a sore loser Phil is.

I could've swore we already established that on top of being a slave to his own habits, Phil's hatred of his job contributes to a desire to keep things somewhat lively for himself by switching games as much as possible.
Also, as of late, he's desperate to keep shuffling through games to find one that consistently has him hitting the tips goal. And because that's such a priority, making about the same money every day, since that's how he lives his life, burning through it isn't an option. He has to stretch it out, to make it go farther.
Wouldn't be such a problem if he actually saved any money instead of wasting it all.
