I've been pretty impressed with Poilievre's hammering of Trudeau on various scandals, and would love to see him do that as leader of the opposition. He'd definitely be excellent at that job. He's a great attack dog. What's a little more questionable to me is how he would fare as an actual leader with a positive plan for the future, rather that just being negative towards the opposition. That said, in the last week or two, he has done a great job leading the way within O'Toole's Cuckservative Party on support for the trucker convoy, so maybe he's gucci on that front too.
I don't hate Leslyn, she probably would have been better than O'Toole for example, but I'm skeptical. I especially don't buy the notion that she'd be untouchable to the media. Blacks are only sacred cows when they play ball. Just look at how they treat the likes of Louis Farrakhan when he said something like "I'm not an anti-semite, I'm anti-termite," or more topically given recent events, how they just fired Whoopie Goldberg from The View after she made some comment about the Holocaust not being about race, because Jews are White (in her opinion). I think they'd be more than willing to tear Leslyn a new one, and the usual suspects who might jump to the defense of a black woman probably wouldn't care to defend an uncle tom / house nigger / coon.
