Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

I gave up on Caitlin Glass. She went full BLM on her social media. She has unfollowed Vic on Twitter. Even if she is just trying to protect herself, "What does it profit man to gain the whole world and lose his soul." It is walks like a duck and quack like a duck, it's a duck.
Also goes to even show what happens when she walks between the thin line of wanting to get along with people, while the people that you think are progressive want to put you on the line for the firing squad.

Playing both sides in a case like this will burn you if you’re not playing your cards right.

Do you have a picture of her liking such tweets? Also I looked at the link to Josh Grelle’s tweet and I fail to see him saying “Vic should be lit on fire”.
My mistake. I copied the wrong archive from the link above it.
Here's the Grelle tweet:
And for context, yes, Grelle is responding to Jamie Marchi talking about Vic.
Her tweet was around the same time she posted her screed.
As Caitlin Glass,
You can go to the Twitter accounts Funimation VAs that canceled their appearance at KamehaCon 2019 - such as Grelle, Jason Douglas, Daman Mills, Sarah Wiedenheft, and, of course, Monica.
You'll find Caitlin among those liking the tweets by announcing their cancelation.
Furthermore:
I personally witnessed her liking #KickVic tweets and when she made any kind of post celebrating FMA or Brotherhood she never tagged Vic. She also started blocking those bringing to her attention that she didn't tag Vic. Finding all of that would be quite a chore. But since testimony is evidence apparently..... I did witness this.
I've seen these, too.
She also posted this on Instagram nearly a week after the initial online attacks (as well as her colleagues' endorsement of said attacks):
To me, it reads as though she believed the accusations against Vic and that he was guilty of them.
Her mother sided with Jessie Pridemore on Facebook:
I don't know about Caitlin, but her mom publicly sided with Jessie Pridemore.

Edit: Michele Specht's statement in i09 said "the loving, monogamous relationship I believed in and was devoted to never existed" with no claim of abusive behavior.
She also was siding with Jamie in mocking a troll site created during the beginning of the trial:
Also, she liked Kara Edwards' tweet after the TCPA hearing was dismissed:

But remember, those two VAs who accused Vic are totally legitimate victims even as they smugly belittle everyone who doesn't believe them.

Also, the Kara Edwards archive link isn't working:

You know looking again at the way these people acted after the TCPA hearing was dismissed really does bother me and for a very good reason. I'm going to bring up a Minnesota true crime story to compare this to and I will spoiler tag it because it is disturbing even though I'm summarizing it:

This was documented on an Investigation Discovery series titled 1980s The Deadliest Decade (Season 2 Episode 9). In 1985 in a small town called Underwood, MN a 13 year old girl named Sarah Anne Rairdon was kidnapped and found dead in a ditch. Soon afterwards, her father becomes an advocate for kidnapped children. Well, at some point police found out the father was sexually abusing her and eventually she started to reject his advances which led to her being murdered by her father. Keep in mind this happened in a rural community and when the father was convicted, the people in the courtroom didn't even say anything, they just felt sad and betrayed.

Here's a link for those who want to watch it though you can't watch it unless you have TV provider.
https://www.investigationdiscovery....tion-discovery-atve-us/the-milk-carton-murder

Now compare to what you just read to how these people reacted to the TCPA hearing. If Vic really was the terrible person they describe him as, these people who knew him for nearly 15-20 years would've reacted very differently, they would've been legitimately betrayed & sad that someone they knew for this long was a sexual predator if they were friends with him. However even if it was true and they knew this whole time they would be utterly horrible people because they did nothing about it until now.

The way they really acted is how mean girls in middle school act when they hurt/bully someone.

Ask Chuck Huber how that shit went.

Yes because having to appeal the lawsuit clearly means he's guilty of everything he's ever been accused of, couldn't just be he got an unfair judge whose way of conducting trial hearings he wasn't prepared for or anything like that nope, 100% guilty.
It's Reddit. Almost everyone on there is stupid by default, it's like twitter but there's more people like BT on there who think they're smarter than everyone else they criticize.

The voice actress they are referring to is Karen Strassman in case anyone was wondering.

People should really keep an eye on what's happening to Karen though. It's very similar to what happened to Vic with the initial rumors about him. Those rumors as far back as the late 2000s started up because Vic publicly stated he didn't want to sign yaoi fanart of FullMetal Alchemist characters and the people who believed those rumors kept bringing it up again and again hoping to get rid of him until 2019. Vic's initial response to it all was to ignore it until he couldn't anymore.

Karen is in a similar situation because she has different views that aren't far left. I know culture war stuff is heavily overblown but you should never, ever underestimate an SJWs ability to get what they want. It doesn't matter how many times you claim these people are spoiled brats & special snowflakes. It doesn't matter how stupid, wrong & immoral the things they want are while they claim it's the exact opposite, these people collectively have a history of getting what they want.

Fuck them, *edited* who would want to sign a shitty yaoi anyway.

Well, that's just being based.
And having common sense.

These are the same kind of people that complain about how unfair the law is until it suits their needs. "The more I looked into it the more it seems like he likely did it." The creed of someone who actually hasn't looked into anything.

I believe part of the problem with why sjw and other degenerates get what they want is all because of how loud/obnoxious they are and the fact like other idiots, they believe everyone on twitter is the majority of people so companies hire and listen to these folks believing their money flow and popularity will increase. Instead of realizing that these degenerates don't spend any money on them and only keep making more demands; companies (the other sjws they hire more specifically) start attacking/blaming fans for everything.

Remember, Vic just had to apologize and he'd be welcomed back.

Topic of the thread was Chris Niosi being replaced as a voice for some Naruto character.

People like Niosi can claim they've improved and learned from their past mistakes but that doesn't mean they'll ever be welcomed back. Also Vic apologized initially and went to therapy sometime afterwards.

People who claim Niosi will have a second chance have no idea or understanding of what a reputation actually is.

So much for her Caitlin for still being cool with Vic. Fuck. Liked her too.

Still hoping for at least a Bittersweet Ending for this horror story though.
