This is literally what hoisted Patreon by its ass! Requires Federal instead of State though sadly, which means you will have to pay your end of things. Maybe someone should set up a charity for these things.

Any Charity that receives the money however falls outside the Arbitration clause. It's open season on them. IANAL though so talk to an actual attorney. It's possible there are ways to breach their arbitration clause.

Obligatory IANAL, but I think this falls under services not rendered. TOS be damned, you paid them to do something and they didn't do it. As far as I'm aware, there's no clause for "but we sent you an email saying you could opt out of us not rendering the agreed services :^)". This seems like it's illegal as fuck in America, so I have to assume it's super duper illegal in Canada and Europe.

We had a nesting pair outside the employee entrance where I used to work, I got a reputation becuase I was one of the few employees who weren't scared of them and eventually they just stopped fucking with me. I love them as a litmus test to see who's weak.

I'm sure the upstanding, moral people of downtown Ottawa will try and get that shut down, because having kids is a sign of Nazism, or whatever their argument is now. If you are unfortunate enough to have a child, they should be shown Pride Parades and kept inside at all costs so that they don't ruin a redditor's day by calling them a faggot for still playing Mario party by themselves at age 36.

Earlier today, the Ottawa police chief mentioned that they would be investigating those who donated to the Go Fund Me (along with those who donated to the convoy via bank eTransfers). It's obvious that GFM shut it down to cover their bases in case things were to go south like TPTB suggest.

@Sleazy Car Salesman I can't rule out that possibility however, his interactions with those who agreed with him (he offered to keep them company and walk with them so that they would feel safer among the sea of Visigoths with Unacceptable Views) and the Ottawa Citizen journalist who approached him for an interview (he pops up toward the end of the video) suggests that he isn't completely socially inept. To me, it seems that he walked in with inflexible preconceptions that primed him to interpret otherwise neutral interactions as being much more hostile than they really were.

Thanks for the feedback, I didn't watch it since I don't have that kinda patience but I wanted to at least try to give him shadow of the doubt. From what you told me I'm gonna have to agree with you that he's just a hysterical and unreasonable person.

If they refund automatically, that's one thing.

Getting your refund through there drops your email and dox straight to the feds.

Another thing is...

Look at that list of "war crimes" and "violence" and then look at how they start screaming they want a Civil War and how tough guy they are.

These are the people who think they'll win a war and they can't even handle the noise.

Seriously, these are the people who think they deserve all the power and everyone should be afraid of them.

What are they going to do if they're outside of Ottawa. Do they think they're magically going to arrest and deport them to the city for trial? That's just going to create more anger.
