I don't have a background in law, so your guess is as good as mine. Maybe there is someone in this thread that could shine some light on some of the possibly outcomes. I guess what happens depends on what goes down in the next few days (ex: violent false flag) and the nature of the charges, if any.

Canada has good relations with a lot of nations will press authorities in those nations to investigate those individuals for crimes in the nation they are in. Besides, I don't think this is so much an investigation to charge anyone, but to find a political or other motive. It would help the feds if they could show only a small percentage came from Canadians.

I assume they think their arbitration clause is air tight. They also assume nobody is going to file individual arbitrations. To be honest if all the aggrieved parties here filed arbitrations GoFundMe would BEG to turn the case into a class action lawsuit.

They're a CA company and CA law has something about arbitration where the corporation has to put up a fund to cover arbitration costs. There was smething about Patreon (a CA company) and when they terminated Sargon of Akkad. If all the people who had been contributors to him were to file arbitration against Patreon, it would have cost them several million. SO, if you are a donor to the trucker fund on GoFundMe, start pulling down the documents on how to file arbitration for them redirecting your funds.

Correct. Most of the driver shortfall is because truckers, myself included, have been taking more hometime rather than deal with the bullshit out there. We made enough to get by and in our own way are telling the corporate dickbags and government officials who completely failed to support us for the last two years to go screw.

This whole thing being trucker based is no accident. Resentment has been building for a looooooong time in the industry.

The blue-collar guys control the material ability to bring food and supplies to Ottawa, but the white-collar guys control the blue-collar guys' ability to use money and communications. So who will break first, the truckers who need to be able to obtain money to eat, or the Ottawans who need truckers to bring them food to eat?
