One day I came home from work and there was a pile of about 25 dead Canada Geese half frozen into a lump piled in my driveway. My buddy told some hunter at his work "sure drop a few off, we will eat them".
They used to be a protected species here, but now they are a nuisance, and you can shoot pretty much as many as you want.

We spent days plucking fucking geese. I still have some in the freezer. I don't really like it, the meat is tough because they fly half across the continent twice a year.

Holy shit. Don't they think this is too extreme? A lawsuit is actually quite frequently a terrifying and traumatic experience. It's a "soft" form of violence employed by the state.
Also what if these truckers aren't able to work anymore? What if facing that radicalizes them and they feel like they have nothing to lose?

Sue happy ambulance-chasing lawyers have gone after truckers and carriers for decades. It was only a matter of time until they got involved here. I hope the new crowdfund set aside some legal funding to fight this. It's gonna get bad.

I'm pretty familiar with how to navigate Canadian law and I could probably break down whether this has any merit, but I dunno if that's worthwhile.

At the end of the day, any O/Os out there are just parking a vehicle. Not really much you can do about it. I've never heard of the notion of "businesses can't protest" because businesses can push whatever political bullshit they want as long as it isn't hatespeech.

Besides, it wouldn't help anything, these truckers are going to lose their jobs if the mandates aren't revoked anyhow. Just makes it a catch-22.
