What do we do about this? Link arms with your fellow countrymen and demand that the government stop acting like Socialist Germany. No one is saying that YOU can't wear a mask, no one is saying that a private business can't demand proof of vaccination to enter. All people want is for the government to stop demanding that these practices be observed and enforced.

A couple random thoughts:
1. I didn't expect it, but I'm not quite as surprised as most that this started in Canada and not the US. Their lockdowns were consistently longer and stricter than really anywhere in the US. There was still enough power left to the states where Covid policy was pretty distinctly split between states that locked down for a few months in 2020 then quietly reopened to business as usual and states that wanted the government daddy to step on them more and were largely okay with it (except working class people of course, but that reckoning is still coming in November). Hell, I live in a mostly blue state and I've experienced basically no disruptions since August 2020.
Canada on the other hand has forced people to stay in their homes, shut down provincial borders, and instituted real business lockdowns, without the toothless enforcement you saw in a lot of the US. There's been more discontent for a while.
2. The response to this is delicious. People have already pointed out that the same kind of Canadian whining about the honksurrection are the ones that cheered, with great enthusiasm, at the literal burning of cities. They do not understand the working class, whom they see as replaceable, but they are completely at the mercy of the same working class people they claim to champion but now openly disgust.
"Just tow them all!" - They do not comprehend the scale of what a staggering logistical feat that is, all while not realizing the towing companies will likely refuse.
"Where are the police?" - They spent two years decrying the police, calling them racist murderers, screaming that they be abolished, thinking they were standing up to power while not realizing that the only reason they have a voice at all is because of the very system they despise.
"Just cut off the fuel supply" - This one is especially hilarious. It's the kind of "I'm so smart, look at this solution so obvious to me" solution that has characterized the cancerous left for the past decade. They think there's a valve somewhere. They think the government already has the power to turn it off, and what's more terrifying is they think the government should have that kind of power in the first place. This isn't a fucking video game. People worked hard to build that infrastructure. People work hard to maintain it. People, besides even the truckers, depend on it for their literal life-or-death livelihood. And they think they have not just the power but the right to shut it all down because they're "smart" and that's the "smart" solution. All because they can't handle a little noise in their own backyard after telling the people whose homes, businesses and lives were burned to the ground that it's "for justice" and "buildings aren't as important as people."
It's like that Vaush clip that circulated recently where he casually said we should starve Russian civilians to make their country "more compliant". It's one of those phrases where they clearly and openly state that not only are they too retarded to understand the levers of power, they're also openly admitting that they're too morally bankrupt to ever be trusted to operate them as well, all while being blissfully ignorant of their own utter incompetence and ethical depravity.
This whole thing has been fascinating. I wasn't sure that it would be a net positive at first, but I've reached the point where I think it really has some weight to it, but it will still be a difficult needle to thread. It all depends on whether there are enough normal people in the center that can be swayed by the truckers or else disgusted by the reaction of the state, it's corporate flunkies and their cheerleaders. The only way it backfires is if more people come away from this thinking that the state should have more power to clamp down on this sort of uppity nonsense from the riff raff.

It is interesting how fast the Canadian government and police forces flipped from acknowledging the calm and peaceful Trucker Rally to coercing the shutdown of their funding and ramping up of police enforcement on unproven claims of violence. No one ever questioned the funding of the BLM or anti-pipeline protests, yet those protests resulted in widespread violence and the destruction of property. How and when does this end?

REPLY: The Black Lives Matter was promoted as part of the dividing the people which ensured they would be able to argue for equality and also to defund the police. This served the designs of government so they could then rescue society with federal troops. The truckers are challenging the government, which is a different objective.
During the Great Depression, there was the Bonus Army that marched on Washington demanding their pay for serving in World War I. They called out the military and tanks appeared on the streets. They even shot and kills protesters and their families. This influenced the election in 1932 and it was one major reason Hoover lost.
Trudeau is an international disgrace. While other countries are abandoning this COVID scam which has been used to further a political agenda, those countries tied at the hip with Schwab and the WEF are holding firm to oppress the people. Trudeau has committed treason as have others pushing this Build Back Better agenda which was launched at Davos in January 2019 1 year ahead of COVID.

GoFundMe shuts down the Canadian truckers’ fund

GoFundMe, a site that holds itself out as the go-to place for online fundraising, just shut down the Convoy 2022 Fundraiser, which had passed $9,000,000 (Canadian). The same organization that funded the violent and illegal Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone in Seattle, as well as myriad other violent BLM organizations, says that, once law enforcement told it that the Convey was dangerous, it was obligated to shut everything down. Adding insult to injury, GoFundMe is refusing to return the money donated, which runs directly counter to its “GoFundMe Guarantee.”
To give context to just how awful GoFundMe’s behavior is, here are a few facts. To begin with, this is not the first time GoFundMe has yanked the rug out from conservative fundraisers. It’s a sign of the truckers’ political naivete that they didn’t go straight to GiveSendGo, a Christian-based online fundraising site.
As this Fox Business article details, GoFundMe has repeatedly cut off funding for conservatives. An athlete who believes only in monogamous, heterosexual marriage had his fundraiser (unrelated to his marriage beliefs) stricken. GoFundMe also cut off a fundraiser for a bar owner who had dared to call George Floyd—a multi-offending felon who held up a pregnant woman with a gun to her belly and who died after sticking fentanyl up his derriere—a thug. It’s also shut off people who sought to raise funds after losing their jobs because they refused to get vaccinated.
No conservative or non-leftist group should ever use GoFundMe again.
Also, GoFundMe has freely and happily funded incredibly violent organizations. It kept open the fundraising platform for the illegal Seattle Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, which radicals set up during the height of the George Floyd riots. It was undeterred even after people got murdered there, along with other acts of extreme violence.

GoFundMe also kept the money flowing to BLM. We’ve learned now that much of BLM appears to be a giant communist grift, with the leaders apparently siphoning off millions for themselves.
However, while it might not have been immediately apparent to softheaded leftists back in 2020 that BLM was a con job, it was apparent that it was violent. Minneapolis, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Kenosha, Dallas, New York, and other cities all suffered tremendous violence in BLM’s name, with people murdered, whole communities burned to the ground, and both chain-stores and family stores looted and destroyed. None of that deterred GoFundMe.
As I said, if the truckers hadn’t been naïve, they would have avoided GoFundMe from the beginning. It was inevitable GoFundMe would cut them off. It was also inevitable that it would do so at the behest of a leftist politician who lied about the truckers being violent. Also, that GoFundMe would say, as if it had never funded CHAZ or BLM, that it couldn’t possibly countenance handling money that might go to violent people:
GoFundMe didn’t just cut off the truckers, though. It’s also refusing to return the money to the donors. Instead, it claims that it’s going to work with the convoy organizers to find agreeable charities:

It's not just the truckers who should be upset. If you go to any GoFundMe page and click the “Donate now” button, this is what you’ll see:
There is nothing on that page that informs you that GoFundMe, if it doesn’t like the charity to which you’ve contributed, will keep your money and give it to another charity that’s not of your choosing. Instead, as I’ve highlighted, it offers a “GoFundMe Guarantee” to protect people’s donations.
Here are the specifics of that GoFundMe Guarantee:
If I were a Convoy 2022 donor, I think I would be inclined to discuss with GoFundMe the fact that its intended actions run counter to its Guarantee to me that the money I donated would either go to the donee of my choice or come back to me.
What we’re seeing with leftist organizations such as GoFundMe is hubris. They’ve gotten away with hypocritical and morally indecent behavior for a long time and, right now. However, this particular decision may prove to be its Waterloo, provided that the truckers and donors are willing to make it live up to its promises and past behaviors.

Convoys supposedly happening in the UK. They've also got a list of sites for convoys all over the world.
I somehow doubt it'll have as big an impact here as in canaderp, given most all of our restrictions are gone already and people don't really care as much, but I'll probably head over to the M6 in a bit to see if I can spot anything there. Last time anything like this happened here was the fuel protests at the turn of the century, when truckers and farmers pretty much shut down most of the country for a week with rolling road-blocks and refinery blockades.

Which makes me laugh even harder at how naïve and stupid they are. If the working class - farmers especially - were taken away in chains, who is going to make and deliver their food to begin with? These people seem incapable of taking care of themselves, let alone the massive farms you can get on the prairies of 3,000 head of cattle. Even if they all go vegan like the cucks they are, Canada is a Winter Country. If their plants don't die from the snow, they'll die off because they probably don't even understand the concept of seed collection and once that plant croaks, they couldn't replace it.
They constantly are hurling abuse at the people that basically feed them, clothe them, and keep them warm and with money as the backbone of the Canadian economy isn't reddit farts but hard, strenuous jobs like Oil and Gas, Forestry, Farming, etc. They want those of us who work in here to be punished for inconveniencing them with HONK, when the reality is without us, they'd be starving in the streets like a Ukrainian under Stalin.
If the global supply chain really does become fucked up from this, and we see famine hit this country, I think the bugmen will finally learn the meaning of "hard times" and "discomfort". I'd fully expect them to keep screaming at the blue collar workers for it on twitter if it happened, but I doubt it would be for long since some of these idiots would die without soymilk. All I'm going to do is lean back, enjoy the fruits of my labour from last year in the form of canned soup, and laugh at their suffering from the toots of trucks.
