I love Grandpa Jack in general. It's obvious he loves Jazz but has never and will never be on board with everything that's happened.

I kinda like both grandparents. I agree- but even if a suicide attempt hasn't been explicitly revealed, Jazz suffering major depression has been. Given that the high suicide rate for trans people is always supposedly due to their not being accepted for their identity- and Jazz has grown up in a world framed by nonstop acceptance about his identity- why would he be depressed exactly? What is the reason that squares with this 'only suicidal due to transphobia!!' thing/party line?
