I agree with this, also notable was recently Ralph had posted something where she sent him a picture of the cat. Gator confirmed on Kino Casino that Ralph has access to her account, further to this Ralph also controlled Faith's internet access (which they claimed was to protect her from the forum) by taking her phone.
I think it is far more likely that overtime Ralph has set rules on how and when she is allowed to use social media. What seemed like a normal thing at first has now warped in tweeting whatever Ralph wants and whenever he wants her to, and in addition to this running it by Ralph whenever she wants to Tweet. Of course this is always to avoid embarrassing him you see, or because he wants to be able to trust her.
A less extreme version of this behaviour is seen with Gator, who confirmed Ralph would ask him and other Capos to go in to bat for him, or to refrain from talking about certain issues, making certain jokes or would demand they signal boost a certain narrative - for instance, that his phone was hacked. It is what he expects of his online associates, so why would he not expect more extreme behaviour and subservience from his significant other.
She's a tool for him and he controls where she goes, what she says and who she associates with. I said this about the Faith relationship, it was coercive and controlling on the part of Ralph. It continued to be after he left. (even when restricting things to accusations there is clear evidence are true).
A useful tool for thinking about these relationships is this timeline, ignore the homicide part most coercive relationships actually just bounce between stages 3-6. Anyway... Let's evaluate Ralph.
1. Yep, Ralph has multiple restraining orders from people he was previously intimate with. He also has accusations of domestic violence which are corroborated by May's texts.
2. Raph moves very fast with his relationships, he moved Faith in almost instantly. He knocked up and got engaged to Meigh within a few months.
3. Harder to directly evidence due to things being behind closed doors, but with Meigh, Faith etc there are instances relating to phones as highlighted which suggest that Ralph is generally a controlling person to women in his life.
4/5/6. Nora speaking to Andy, Faith going to DC, Faith wanting to go home.
I doubt very much Ralph would ever escalate to murder, but only because he knows he would go down forever. I think he'd do it if he thought he could get away with it.
Anyway, yeah basically May is a battered horse.
