Just four? Openly packing around their firearms without escort? Sure don't seem like they're too worried. Dudes like that rarely move about so openly, and even less often would hold doors open for people.

If I were to guess, they're either going to deal with an armed counter protestor to head that off, or getting in position in case such a threat emerges.

Honestly I like him, and have since 2017 as he was my second choice to Mad Max. I think he has a good chance of getting in, and maybe with him the PPC can get a few seats so we can see a CPC-PPC coalition (just let me dream dammit)

Eh. No shields. No special equippment. That is certainly the riot squad, but without the extra gear they're just using their presence to deter any escalation from anyone not the government.

Or to at least look like that's what they're doing.

I liked the way he put together that video. The way the PR guys clearly told him to keep forcing a smile was a little silly, but the content was pretty much spot on.

Of course people are overjoyed to see each other's smiling faces again, to be able to participate in group activities, even just to hug one another. What they're protesting for is that the freedoms already joyously present at the demonstration be reinstated throughout society in perpetuity.


Again, unbelievable retardation. The reason people are so happy at the protest is to finally have a sense of community again, after being atomized and isolated by covid restrictions; spending two years alone getting blasted with fear porn.

Ultimately, it's such a horrifically bad take that I have to suspect it's satire. Even the account name and pic seem a bit too silly to be real.

I think the lefts protesting is backfiring since they feel like it is an obligation. A job. It is their job to go out for whatever cause is in vogue this month.

Actually, it is probably their version of church. That protests are a sacred ceremony and to have truckers profane it is beyond the pale.

Is Trudeau really going to rip the mask off of all that PR to show that he is a craven power hungry tyrant? That upon being actually challenged he opened fire upon citizens? That the benevolent Canadian government will kill any that do not agree?
