2) having a freakout meltdown in front of the kid - that is inappropriate for the child/baby and parent needs a grownup timeout, away from the baby
3) clear suicidal ideation by visiting "a tree where she hanged herself", so maybe that timeout needs to be in-patient?
4) cutting skin - ok that can be outpatient but clearly related to #3 generally,
5) living in a camper or quasi-homeless situation

-HOW IS IT THAT THOSE NORMAL CISGENDER HETERO PARENTS ARE GOOD PARENTS PROVIDING A SAFE, HEALTHY, AND STABLE LIFE FOR A NEWBORN? i know CPS around the country are always overworked/underpaid/understaffed and we have enough shit reach the news from a clear failure of CPS or other adjacent authorities to intervene on behalf of the life of a helpless kid or baby, and then we see the kid end up missing or dead or very neglected to the point of medical intervention.

Not to Be That Person on every thread that mentions this, but that statistic is actually false. Lesbians are more likely to be victims of domestic violence, but not more likely to be perpetrators of domestic violence - most lesbian victims of DV were abused by prior male partners. Lesbians experience abuse at the hands of female partners (note: afaik no study differentiates between lesbian and bisexual female partners, so it would be impossible to say whether these abusive women are lesbian or bisexual) at around the same rate that gay men experience DV at the hands of male partners, and also comparable to the rate at which straight men experience DV at the hands of female partners. I feel like it's very important to note that all of those numbers are positively miniscule next to the rates at which straight and bisexual women experience domestic violence at the hands of a male partner.

Unfortunately, I regret to inform y'all, straight men are still the most likely group to commit domestic violence and abuse. The myth that lesbians are omg so abusive is... well, just a myth, perpetuated by straight dudes who want to take attention away from the fact that straight and bisexual women suffer DV at their hands at astronomical rates.

Fun fact: Studies show children of lesbian parents are more well-adjusted, rated as more competent, and are less likely to be aggressive or have social problems (source). That message is so manipulative, it's horrifying. "Oh, surely they must all mean well!" she claims to believe, despite the obvious nature of most of the messages she's probably receiving. She just wants people to tell her she's an awesome parent and pat her on the head for being "bullied."

Now, I'll usually be the first to say that being temporarily in a bad situation or having mental health issues shouldn't mean that you get your kids taken away, or that you can't be a good parent. But you have to at least be trying to get help, get well, find shelter, etc. There are women's and family shelters all over the country that she could take advantage of, if she could bring herself to acknowledge that she is a woman and a mother. Those same shelters would, for the most part, be happy to provide her with access to mental health services, and probably even free daycare while she attends in many cases! But she's not trying, because she enjoys wallowing in her misery too much - and because she's enjoying the attention, hence the manipulative cry for ass-pats. And that is why she should give up her child, because that poor kid doesn't deserve to grow up with someone who loves the public outrage she gets for being a bad mother more than she loves her child.

As always, you'd think these girls would wise up and accept that they're female after literally giving birth, if only so that their children can have a healthy, normal(ish, at least) childhood... but no. They're too narcissistic for that.

Slight PL, but in my work with teens and the sudden influx of FTM girls, I never see any of them choosing to throw the weighted medicine ball at each other as hard as they can during gym, for example.
