Call me old-fashioned, but I don't think you can consider it "meeting" someone if you are not in the same room with the person.
(I don't think Nickocado lives in Canada, does he? I can't stand him, so don't know for sure where he lives now).

How long until Chantal can safely drive again?

Chantal drank an entire bottle of the cream maple liquor, which has roughly the same ABV as wine. At 700 mL, this is equivalent to about 5 glasses of wine. She also had (nearly) the entire bottle of Grey Goose, at 700 mL this is equivalent to about 15 shots. All of this alcohol was consumed from ~6 pm Friday to ~1 am Sunday morning. Keep in mind she has Child Pugh class C liver disease, this alcohol is staying in her system for a long time and is not quickly metabolized. Factoring all of this into our calculator:

  • I am showing the worst case scenario here. There are various ways to extrapolate this information to show that she may be fine however please consider that this calculator is not built for extremes such as a 5'1" woman who weighs "340 lbs" with Child Pugh class C liver disease who drank 20 beverages in a 30 hour time span. She is acting fine now, which is why many believe she has not yet hit her hangover, and has a non-zero BAC.
  • Karlee did not drink any of the alcohol in the hotel room. Josh likely had 1 drink to be "polite" as Chantal had already slobbed all over the bottle the night before, on camera, and Karlee saw it. So at a maximum, he drained 2 of the 15.5 shots in the bottle.
  • A decent cross-check to the calculator provided above is drunkcalc. If you want to get autistic, you can even enter the time of each drink. Knock yourselves out.
