Many contracts in a variety of different contexts include terms (that nobody reads) for binding forum selection, forced arbitration, or waivers of the ability to bring class action suits. Corporate entities have worked tirelessly to bring about extremely favorable Supreme Court precedent to limit their legal exposure over the course of the past 40 years.

This is a separate issue because in this case the GFM donors are the victims of a crime.

David Zegarac is a well-known scumbag and shit stain on Winnipeg's punk music scene, and was also the frontman for a band named The Brat Attack in the past. He was ostracized from the scene back in the mid-2010s due to a litany of sexual assault and abuse claims, he also hung out in leftist circles (i.e. Antifa) but they didn't like him and kicked him out of those too. Younger people don't know his name and the older ones who do despise him.

Even more than that, the "scientific claims" being put forth are observably false, any discussion is being stifled, and the trial data is being conspicuously hidden from anyone who might want to try to replicate the study. All of this violates the basic principles of science. So what we're left with is decidedly not science.

Yeah, that'll happen. Politics, power, who is in positions that can call this out and stop it is what matters at the end of the day. Our situation is so bad that we have people with power going out of their way to stop those, no matter their credibility, who try to oppose this insanity.
