Wasn't it mentioned a few times that in the GoFundMe contract that you can't class action? If you donate you agree to individual arbitration. Which sucks for GoFundMe if people pursue it because instead of hiring 1 class action team they have to hire X many individual arbitration teams.

I don't know enough about law to disagree with you on it but my understanding was you can dictate arbitration in a contract. If you've got more familiarity in the subject I'll trust ya

Unfortunately, US law is weighted heavily in favor of the right to put terms like this in contracts. Many contracts in a variety of different contexts include terms (that nobody reads) for binding forum selection, forced arbitration, or waivers of the ability to bring class action suits. Corporate entities have worked tirelessly to bring about extremely favorable Supreme Court precedent to limit their legal exposure over the course of the past 40 years.

Mostly because Mexico never really bothered with restrictions and has said its never bothering ever so has seen a surge in tourism and other economic activity to the point they're hilariously reaping the benefits.

if by "restrictions" you mean "border restrictions," then yes, Mexico allowed travel in and out from pretty much everywhere all during lockdown but schools went online, performances and other large gatherings were shut down, and I don't know about small towns but in cities everyone was masked up.
