The military from all indicators has absolutely no desire to get involved in this, they would know the implication of deploying soldiers against peaceful protestors better than anyone else. We'll see what happens if the Ottawa cops try to clear them out...

One thing that people continually overlook is: some of these truckers have nothing to go back to unless the mandate is lifted. This convoy is a hail Mary for a lot of its constituents. This is gonna be wild.
To give the truckers a chance to leave the city before the hammer comes down and they face the might and wrath of the Ottawa PD. While the Chinese military would already be mowing down dissidents left and right, which the government would think is the next step if the cops don't do the job.
Assuming it's for real, what the fuck are they going to do with the hundreds of gallons of fuel? They can't just trust random Jerry cans and use it and city wastewater would be mildly upset if they dumped it down the drain. Are they going to end up paying for hazmat disposal?
