I find that I enjoy how he talks more than others. He does waffle on (after all who doesn't because gotta reach that ad revenue so it isn't a criticism I really hold in high regard because the platform forces it if you want to earn money from it) I do find him entertaining enough to watch.
His commentary videos are very boring to get through. The only project “commentary crusade” he made with some modicum of effort was heavily supported by other commentators (to put it simply. More so built on the backs of other commentators pulling the video which is fine but it’s essentially a glorified unseen compilation video with no deep dives or anything to tie it together) . The sad part is it really had potential, when it was first hyped I was thinking that it was going to be an interesting subject topic no one was talking about: comes out as another pokimane video. Talk about beating a dead horse with the other hundreds of videos made on that dumb thot…yeah that was the time I realised that his content wasn’t ever going to be reaching a good quality/interesting subject matter. I don’t really find his personally unique to any of the other “chill” commentary guys either. His videos are baseline made for revenue that’s it - I wouldn’t expect anything more from the guy other than that.

I'm not sure what the general opinion is since almost anyone in the commentary community is divisive, but for me personally, I just prefer them to be a bit on the "boring" side as I guess monotone or less screaming, hype, etc. voices tend to turn me off more than anything. I could really care less what the subject matter is since I use it for background noise while I'm working on far more interesting or attention-consuming things.
I gotta give Lerix some credit. He may be a weeb but his debate with Stardust was incredibly good and had her seething for two hours straight last night. He even called out her tactics of saying "Well you sound mad xD". His Tipster video was well edited enough for me to stay watching as well. Hopefully he doesn't become a spineless faggot like everyone else in the commentary community.
Lerix definitely has potential I’d argue that He’s probably the rising star. I like my commentary with some backbone. However that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for any improvement just to make his videos smoother etc etc. so far, I feel like his tipster video is his weakest one, maybe it’s because Tipster is not video worthy or maybe he could’ve sourced more hard hitting issues with Tipster’s credibility and general coping on Twitter. Also I like that the guy isn’t following the rules of gay internet friends (so far), after all it just makes you a bitch to internet optics. The detriment to his tipster video was him pussying out and going “oh I like tipster” that really doesn’t matter (in fact you’re just adding bias to your video and people could accuse you of going soft because of that) , if tipster can’t take criticism in video form then he’s bitchmade.

I mean, Lerix is pretty much just a slightly more swear-y version of Turkey Tom's second channel, but with a more regular upload schedule.
I’m slightly skeptical here, sure they shout him out and boost his numbers but as we’ve seen before that doesn’t necessarily mean “friends”to these people take John swan and technicals. Even Kavos was a keemstar dick rider who was vs practically everyone else in commentary. The worst thing that it means is the goon squad expect him to parrot etc etc. I’m hoping this isn’t the case so far as I see potential in his channel but as time moves on, I could be proven wrong.
It is also how so many terrible people also manage to stay under the radar in the cc as many of them form groups like this to excuse thier terrible behavior and even get away with horrible stuff sometimes like spoctortheory, who had real CP on a flashdrive that got buried and ignored due to he befriended other major people in the community who helped change the narrative to make him look better. (Didn't help two spergs attached themselves onto it making up shit that helped devaule the real shit he did)
The best part of Tipster's reaction was him starting out saying everything was fine and they talked and no hard feelings, to slowly having to explain everything and the longer the video goes on the more no hard feelings comes out through gritted teeth,
I always found Optimus to be the more accessible and safe version of Turkey Tom. It’s kind of like Joe Rogan for Gen Z, but without the DMT and MMA advice. Not really bad to listen to when working out in the gym kind of YouTuber, in my opinion.
