I'd assume the organizers knew this would happen. Arrests would have been the first thing they talked about if they have more than 2 brain cells. I'm curious what their contingency plan(s) are.

Assuming the lawyer on Twitter was even being truthful when he said that truckers were calling him from jail. Would they be processed that quickly to even call him from there?

I genuinely hope these freedom truckers will be alright. What they've done is amazing, especially in this day and age - standing up for their rights in peace - and they don't deserve to get mowed down for it. On the other hand, all those who claim to be 'on the right side of history' are violent, manic, and utterly unhinged.

The world's gone fucking mad and I hate that somehow it constantly gets worse with no silver lining anywhere in sight.

The police are known for taking bites not going 1965 hippie beating mad-chads anymore. I agree about verifiable footage, ECSPECIALLY ARCHIVE EVERYTHING, but i wouldn't count it out at all.

Hey I'm not dooming, the Australian spin-off has hit some setbacks but it's still truckin. Just wanting to drop the occasional foreign honkening update in here so everyone knows this is kicking off outside of Canada as well.

Not sure if it should go in its own thread tbh, sorry for any confusion I am new and gay.

Yeah that's quite curious. Either a) they're processing quickly because they're expecting a huge amount of arrests, b) these were unreported earlier arrests, or c) it's fake. I would doubt a just because of how slow our system is but maybe the pressure is on.

I think the pressure on Sloly's also been increased since that city council meeting. The women are hounding for blood and after that meeting he probably feels like he has to do something to appease them.

The only thing I'll add to the OKC sperging here is this. If the glowies really cared about their kids getting turned into ash I don't think they would have rewarded the first responder who tried to save them by stabbing him in both sides of his neck, slashing his wrists 11 times, then shooting him in the head. But that was totally a suicide.

On topic though. The demoralization efforts the media are trying to push seem to be their only option. They're pretty fucked unless the truckers decide to leave on their own. If they try to force it they face pretty bad logistical and PR issues.
