Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

I think we're safe there, unless Han and Leia started boning the second the war was over.
They did in DisCanon. The idiot writers had them get married right there on Endor during the big party and shag for reproduction right there in an ewok hut and the little monster was born a year later. And Book of Bob takes place 4 to 5 years after he was conceived, so he's old enough to begin the training in Luuke's retard special ed jedi school.
Knowing Han...
Too bad no one at Disney does. Just like they don't know a damn thing about Luke outside of "he swings a shiny sword" and comes from sand land.

I asked for this back in 2015 when Mark, Carrie, and Harrison were all still alive, and the fanboys/media told people like me to piss off. But watch this happen and play out exactly as written after they've already ruined everything.

It's why I'd prefer they'd have never defined the size of the clone or droid armies to begin with, that territory is best left to SpaceBattles and StarDestroyer autists.
Speaking only of Spacebattles, they went through all of the material they can get their hands and can cite their sources.
For Star Wars having conflicting sources really triggers their autism.
It shouldn't be surprising though that if you do decide to put down a solid number to get into a slapfight with said autists.
Solid hard numbers is one of many things that can shatter the illusion of disbelief for science fiction, sci-fi fantasy and space opera.

Didn’t Han install a kitchen in the Falcon as a wedding gift? Cause I faintly remember that.

Perfectly in-character for him imo, the man is a professional troll in the first two flicks. Guarantee he shitposts on the Holonet’s 4chan equivalent.

Iirc one of the novels and ancillary materials on the Falcon and ship class confirmed him installing a "galley*" on the Falcon for Leia. *Kitchen for landlubbers although given the pictures, it appears to be more of a kitchenette than a proper kitchen.

I know this forums already know about Dave Filoni terrible history, but I found this interesting video about him and people in the comments section already started defending him while pointing fingers at George Lucas.

One of the problems with scale in sci-fi is the unbelievable, mind-numbing levels of boring-ass logistics needed in the real world. If you look at the WWII US Navy, the bulk of the shipping was tenders and oilers and piddly escorts with just enough weapons to keep the oilers from getting sucker punched if the enemy sent skimishers.

Even many ships that saw combat spent the majority of the war in dry dock or on babysitting duty for oilers. Most ships weren't even involved in any surface action, and only a couple were involved in more than one.
War, especially ship-based war, is really boring.

Even if you go back to the age of sail, where for the most part ships needed to be their own logistics trail with frequent port calls, battles often took place slowly over the course of a day. The cases of a ships being sunk were an extreme minority.

This fucking show, man.

Same pacing and display issues as characters and their personalities in TCW, etc. Grievous, a clown. Dooku, stereotypically evil. First, they turn Boba into a pussy. Then, they treat him like NORMAL while conflicting their displayed vision of him.

This show legitimately has the writing quality of a High School classroom collectively writing a Star Wars fanfic. A passable grade due to low expectations from the teacher (in this case, fans). This legitimately feels like something a small group of people would have found online in 2013 and begged Filoni to add their favorite fanfic to canon.

The irony is that a small group of teenagers probably are stronger writers than Dave and their fanfiction has medium odds of being as good or slightly better than anything his squits out.

This, Bane would have a point if he was talking about say……. EU Boba, who was pretty much Judge Dredd.

But Blorba? The lame-duck who let actual prostitutes use his helmet as a bucket? Who had to be saved by children? Who spent YEARS LARPing as a desert savage rather than reclaiming his ship?

Fuck off with that, can’t wait to see him get jobbed in the finale.

Some choice quotes from the article:

"While canon often uses the Legends timeline as inspiration, the new continuity lacks the same respect for all of its material when compared to the original Star Wars timeline."

"There were numerous continuity snarls throughout Star Wars Legends’ decades of existence as well, but the key difference was that Legends took the time to clear up any inconsistencies."

"Tt's wasteful to release [spinoff material like comics and video games] only to contradict them in screen media only a few years later."

"Canon could benefit from a canon tier system"

"Ideally, upcoming canon material would simply be mindful of the lore find creative ways to tell the stories its creators want to tell without trampling over previous works."

>Tfw even the shill websites are dropping all pretenses of patience with Disney's constant lorebreaking

Thankfully Rian Johnson made Star Wars more complex and realistic when he revealed that war profiteering is le bad.

Also both sides buy weapons from the same people for some reason.

Every faction in the galaxy also hires the same seven mercenaries, for every job regardless of skill set.

I bet Rian watched Clerks and felt Randall's contractor theory is deep stuff.
I mean, it's not the first time that plotline came out.

Gundam did it decades ago with those fucking scumbags at Anaheim Electronics. They basically gained a Mobile Suit monopoly due to absorbing the minds from Zeon's mech companies, and had a habit of selling mechs to terrorist groups because mechs were a money maker during conflict.

You can only make so many construction mechs after all.

Its not even a bad theory, remember NJ/Philly at the time. That was probably a 100% accurate conversation he had working at the store. The mob weren't exactly secret, so you took the job knowing what will happen. Look what happened to the guy than ran over Gotti's kid by accident. You knew you'd pay with your life if things didn't go well. the difference is that in 1994 the EU was barely a thing, and by the time of TLJ we have a pretty good knowledge of who made what and why
