You then have an infinite amount of time at your next location to release the firearm. The bracket isn't to stop people from getting the firearm, it's to stop the firearm flopping around and potentially discharging during routine operation of the vehicle.

I sometimes pick up AM radio from Canada and I'm in Manhattan NY, usually in summer but sometimes in winter. Was able to get a station last night. I have a LW/SW but never use it.

The AM radio bounce. It has to do with atmospherics and geography and the ionosphere. The big flame-throwing clear channel stations can go a long way if you are positioned right.

In my pre-satellite radio days I could tell you what you could pick up where in the entire western US. It was a lot of Art Bell and political talk radio. Sometimes you could get an old timey country station, those were the best. Sports radio was good too.

Police were harassing Windmoor for refueling his truck, and were saying that he could be charged for it.
His response was "Well either I refuel or freeze to death", asking them if they want to have to move his frozen body or not (because he's NOT leaving).

There are other videos on his channel of the police encounter, but this one is him telling the story of the situation.

...and of course, it was the lady cop that wouldn't shut up and was on a massive power trip.

Does he have a video of the event? Because I'd be a hypocrite if I took this guy's story at face value (despite how believable it is) while simultaneously discounting these sorts of stories from other people.

I was trying to track down other videos of this story from different angles, but I just realized how late it is.
On his channel there's one sideways video of him saying "JUST GO AHEAD AND ARREST ME" and "WE AREN'T VIOLENT" while police are present, and the other video is him explaining what happened.

Supposedly, there was other people taking video and I think he said one of them was streaming. But he also called them in at a certain point, so there might not be documentation of the beginning of the encounter.

I've seen nearly nothing of the "freedom convoy" in the UK, for what it's worth. A bunch of people in cars, but not many trucks. Figured this would happen. Simple fact is, we're essentially over the whole thing, so there's no need for us to protest, and solidarity doesn't go very far when the issue isn't personal and you need to work every hour just to stand still.

Only use this information to open a gate/fence/locked door that you have legal permission to open. This likely constitutes breaking and entering and it would suck to get caught for that. In addition to the things I mentioned in this post, anyone who spends any amount of time in a city needs to keep one of these keys on them:

It is not illegal to own these keys, they are not a controlled item and possession of one is not a crime (although you should always consult a lawyer in your local jurisdiction to make sure that applies to you). I highly recommend buying only the OEM keys that have DKS stamped on them. With this key, you will be able to open up the DoorKing panels that are widespread on apartment complexes, highrises, and gated subdivisions, and other controlled access areas:

The default lock has only been replaced twice out of the hundreds that I've encountered. Most of these locks don't get opened often, so be a bit forceful when inserting the key. When you get the panel open, you want to use a paperclip (or other short jumper) to bridge the terminals 1C and 1NO (unless dealing with a magnetic door lock, then it's 1C and 1NC):

I would never suggest using this information for any untoward purposes, but imagine how someone caught up in a "kettle" during a police operation could theoretically escape off of the street level and put a locked door between them and the people who are trying to curtail their freedom.

It always amazes me how many of these devices have all of the control boards on the outside. Sure, it eases access for maintenance and emergencies, but there's ways ogf doing that without compromising the entire security system down to what is actually a very cheap, easily picked lock.

From what I've seen, the truckers are still on the front foot here. Trudick and his media goons propagandising and labelling them all as racist misogynists that want to fire up the ovens again and eat inuit children hasn't worked at all (outside of reddit) and if anything has riled up people, not just in Canada but the wider western world as a whole. This battle of attrition is much bigger than vaccine mandates and Canada. This is the frontline between normal, hard working folk that take pride in their culture and the globohomo world order the managerial classes are desperate to impose on us all. I may be being a little overdramatic, but I think it's only a matter of time before we all have to make a big decision whether to sacrifice everything or acquiesce to these vacuous automatons that govern us.

Yep, summer is when there's enough going on in the atmosphere that Canadian stations come in clearly, winter its hit or miss. Country radio is non-existent in NYC. The best country radio was in small towns in the south. Brings back memories.

Strange the Windsor station comes in and not a Toronto one, although they both seem to be about 500+ mi away, just in different directions.
