Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

I don’t know enough about Canadian logistics to answer this, but is the convoy actually working as a blockade? How long will it take for politicians to actually feel an effect? How is Ottawa getting fresh food and supplies?
According to various biased media sources, the Alberta one has cost like 220 million so far. This Detroit blockade is brand new so $0? The costs depend on what's being delayed and how desperately factories need it.

Got a Windsor video from a rando not involved with the convoy:

Anyone familiar with the crossing know if this looks busier/slower than usual? Is this even the area that would be affected?

& this opinion piece is probably better suited to the Wuflu thread but it's still semi-relevant, if anyone wants a good example of how insane the pro-mandate crowd here in Canada is and why they're freaking out so much:

"It’s the plague that is ruining our lives, and throttling our freedom, and those who understand that deserve the larger share of the freedom pie."
THE PLAGUE

EDIT: Found a livestream of Windsor!

There's been no talk of upping resistance other than bleeding airbrakes afaik. I assume they aren't worried about it until the city can actually find enough wreckers to do something.
Even with the tow trucks they couldn't tow them out faster than others would move in. It won't work logistically. Cops can't be everywhere. Imagine how long it would take to move all the trucks (thousands of them) at several hours per trip. You aren't going to gain anything and will be chasing them forever. There are so many more vehicles there and in the surrounding community. Many were turned away from the city proper when the convoy rolled in and are camping out on the periphery.

That's without even getting into how they plan on removing their occupants. Which would be no easy feat and entails a lot of risk that nobody wants. Understatement.

It's a complete non-starter. Something only people completely clueless as to how operations work would entertain. Sloly has been exhausting himself explaining it again and again to the city council for hours and they still don't get it.

At this point the goal of the protest isn't gonna work. Protests never work when the leader of the country has his head as far up his own ass as Tredeau, which would take literally the entire country protesting over something to see that they should cave to some demands, at this point the best thing that could happen is if the protesters hold up long enough that even Normies see the overreach and overkill of the crackdown.
If that is what this unfortunately comes to, then yes, the gloves will indeed be off and things go into very unpredictable territory. The Quebecois will probably start breaking out the guillotines. Which is why Trudeau and the Canadian elites/government are in a rock and a hard place. The truckers are not gonna acquiesce unless they are decisively demoralized, and the truckers have yet to blink.

That's why the government has already lost. They removed any chance to sow doubt when they said with certainty that the truckers will be punished.

Once you've said that out in the open, what fucking incentive do they have NOT to keep at it, if they're going to be punished anyways?

Guys, every bit counts. Consider donating today. God bless

This guy needs to be stuffed in a locker.

I struggle to see how these gender-studies harpies and sinecured law school officials have enough technical acumen to screw in a light bulb.

They assume that the dirty plebs will so the dirty stuff for them, because they are Knowledge Workers™️ and don't have to deal with petty things like logistics or the physical world.

Devils advocate, they could still offer amnesty for everyone willing to leave right this second. Hoping enough take it to demoralize the rest and trigger a rout.

I'm not sure the objective is to starve out the province.
At this rate it's going to be a happy accident. Two weeks to stop the lockdowns.

Doesn't work when the government's already said what they intend to do. If you're already going to have your life ruined, why not make it worth it? It's the same reason why we don't give shoplifters the death penalty.
The truckers aren't fucking retarded, they know that such a deal would never be honored.
Especially after they rescinded mandates in one province right before putting them right back in full force within a few days.
Oh hey, it's Commando Carol on the Ottawa stream. She's sperging about giving the truckers deadlines and tickets to get them to move.

Lol.
Get fucked, ya hoser. You already plan on ruining them when they leave so what the fuck is a ticket going to do?

People should never stop pointing out double standard is the only standard
I believe the point is people need to be willing to treat friends different than enemies on our side too, even though they will be called all sorts of vile things for it. Discriminate against the regime's friends. Stop the regime from importing friends. Discriminate against their friends and for our friends, even though that will result in lawsuits because they've made it very difficult to legally discriminate against their friends. Which gets back to the bigger picture of why "freedom and unity" is not enough. It can be the messaging on the surface, fine, but people should on some level understand politics is based on the power to discriminate, and our enemies aren't evil because they discriminate but because they discriminate in favor of evil against the good.

Right I don't disagree. Just saying that the decision was only 90% retarded, not 100%. The whole "limited time offer" thing works great on dumb coomsumers. I'd try it if I thought the opposition was a bunch of idiot plebs.

It's because the city council and most of the other bugmen impotently stamping their feet truly believe their own narrative that the police/military could trivially clean this up if they wanted to. They just won't, because they're a bunch of systemic nazis and need to be shamed into doing it.
