Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

So, what happened to that ship horn that was on it's way to Ottawa or was it Montreal, can't remember.? Is it stuck in traffic, or did something else happen to it?

Lol fuck whoever brought it up first. It was a 4chsn gayop. You've gotta scroll through the very first pages but somebody posted the 4chan thread about it.

Holy shit how can they just file an injunction against 60 people who probably dont know that they are being sued?

Councilor Chiarelli asking the real questions: "Is there any evidence that those flying those flags and symbols were actually associated with the Freedom Convoy?
OttaWOPs were pretty based by Ottawa standards, in my experience. Some of them were even openly religious, if you can believe that.

So, to quickly take stock of the situation:

We have Coutts blocked for over a week now. That border crossing is the primary conduit for trade between Alberta and the U.S. and handles $6 billion in trade annually.

The Ambassador Bridge meanwhile handles 25% of ALL trade between the United States and Canada, valued around $400 billion. So this bridge is handling about $100 billion annually.

It remains to be seen whether this will be a 1-2 night thing or the next Coutts but I hope to God it'll be the latter. They'll really feel the fucking pinch when blockades start hurting all of Canada, not just the dirty backwater provinces.

E: as an addition - Ambassador Bridge handles $500 million in one day. The Coutts blockade has by my reckoning cost about $300 million in the week and a half it's been up.

THIS COURT ORDERS that any persons having notice of this order are hereby restrained and enjoined from using air horns or train horns, other than those on a motor vehicle of a municipal fire department, in the geographic location anywhere in the City of Ottawa, in the vicinity of downtown Ottawa, being any streets north of Highway 417, otherwise known as the Queensway, for 10 days from the date of this Order.
I'm sure that John Does 1-60 will cease their honking, but I can't guarantee that John Doe 61 will.

Also, the order says nothing about ship horns.

They sincerely believe their own press. They think they are in a position of strength. They think they have the ability and will to force their authority onto people who do not wish it. They are about to be disproven.

Expect lots of pouting and crying over the next week or so as these "strong measures" go over like a wet fart in church.

Sounds like a good idea until you realize they have to drag them 20 miles clear of the city. You ever seen a glowing red hot drum from a dragging brake before? Ever seen a set of dual semi tires catch fire before? It's pretty nuts.

Crispy trucks lining the roads out of town isn't a workable solution. You need proper tow trucks for the job. They don't have them. Even if they did it doesn't mean they have free access to the truck to tow them. Nor does it mean that they have the ability to stop other trucks from doing the same thing elsewhere.

Give up towbros. It will not work.
Are you implying that the tank haulers will even make it out of town before they break down?

Using basic bitch math here.

27% of $400 billion is $108 billion crossing the Ambassador Bridge every year.

$295,890,410.96 every day.

$12,328,767 every hour.

We're all focused on Ottawa, but making federal bureaucrats and politicians whine doesn't actually financially impact the Canadian government and economy all that much. The federal bureaucrats and politicians are angry that they were made uncomfortable.

The border stuff? Sarnia, Coots, and now Windsor? That is devastating, and this all stems from our cuck of a Prime Minister spitting on people before fleeing Ottawa.

The geography of the area also means it's not an impossibility this is going to crop up at the Niagra crossing too. After that the only viable crossing is the Thousand Islands bridge, and if THAT goes...well, that's pretty much the ball game.

There sure are alot of Nazis in Canada apparently.

While I trust the math, I don't think a ticker starts the moment the road is blocked. The lost revenue comes from factories and stores not receiving the materials/products they need. Most factories have a stock of raw material for at least a day. If a truck is 12 hours late, no harm no foul. If it's 48 hours late, now there's a chance the factory is down and you hemorrhage money.

It's a good thing they blocked Sarnia before Windsor.

Not quite. The International Bridge at Sault Ste. Marie is still open for trucks... hell, that's probably where all the trucks currently in Detroit are going to go.
