Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

Canada even banned people using methodone or another drug used to help wean people off of opioids.
The drug that helped her son was ibogaine.

What is all this?
I've read that 90% of all Canadians live within an hour's drive of USA. Perhaps unexpectedly, the southern-most parts of Canada (Ontario) are further south than the northern-most parts of California.

Where can people that are interested in this donate?

This "hospital capacity" bullshit is a total red herring no one would accept for anything else.

Imagine if schools said "PLEASE, we're at capacity, stop having children and shut down all dating websites and bars until we can get enough staff!"

Or if tire companies demanded the government stop people from driving because it was hard to get enough people to put new tires on people's cars.

Remember that old stalwart of boss's desks in the 80s, "Poor planning on your part does not constitute an automatic emergency on mine"? We need some of that attitude back, pronto. These hospitals have had two years to prepare. In that time they could have trained an army of ICU/critical care providers. They chose not to and they want to lay the blame at the feet of people who had no say.
The hospital capacity has been at the brink for years... Filled with seniors too "sick" to live at home waiting to get into assisted living facilities. That coupled with everyone and their dog going to the emergency room to get their feelings checked. The "cracks" in the system were there long before covid - I'm talking since the 1990's.

She must really have cared about her son to pose for a propaganda outfit and instead of showing a photo of her son smiling she shows him stuck on a ventilator. Seems legit. Just like those articles where a mom who lost her son to suicide is shown holding up a screencap of the liveleak video.
What pisses me off the most is how they pretend the vaccine can stop it. What happens when it doesn’t? What happens when you play by the rules but you’re screwed anyways? They’re silent on that issue but I know the vaccines don’t stop it. If they don’t stop it, then why all the theater?

I imagine there’s a lot of people, vaccinated and otherwise, who are angry at all the measures that didn’t really stop anything for people at risk. And made angrier when they were barred from seeing loved ones dying whether from covid or other reasons. It also affects careers and jobs and many of us have lost work or are struggling to get by.

There isn’t much reason to believe anything they say when they knowingly flip flop and repeatedly lie. I might start listening once Fauci is removed and more importantly prosecuted for his role in propagating covid.

Well would you look at that, the restriction lifting begins. Saskatchewan is getting rid of vax passes on Monday and Kenney in Alberta is likely to announce a similar date when he emerges at 5 PM today:

Kenney in particular is still being a mealy mouthed little shit with the "hospital pressure" but consider this the first major crack in the dam. It's not long now until the whole thing gives way.
Ezra Levant (lulzy as he is) is claiming that the UCP caucus is seeking a court injunction against the Coutts protesters:

I don't really take him as a source obviously, but if true, seems like they're going for a win-win scenario where they crush the "domestic terrorists" while also reopening, so they get no criticism.

What happens if the blockade happens or extends to the US side of the border?

The Ambassador bridge is an even bigger problem because neither the US nor Canadian governments own it. It is privately owned by the heirs of a giant asshole of a billionaire from Gross Pointe. Should there be any damage to the road surface or or the structure in a removal effort, the government will be liable for those costs. And if the bridge has to close for repairs might even have to pay loss of income.
From what I've seen the bridge isn't blocked, they are blocking Huron Church Rd. in Windsor. They are blocking the off lane to the bridge where trucks leave, but by causing the bottleneck, traffic has halted. It's possible they are blocking the bridge, but from what I've seen trucks have made it to the end of the bridge then prevented from actually getting off it. I believe this would make it remain a Canadian police issue.

The CBC today:

...but not at all because of the truckers (a deplorable, fringe minority who no good Canadian supports), just so that's clear.
Please for the love of God Manitoba, follow the flat fuckers lead for once.

Don’t make me wish I could move to Saskatchewan of all fucking places.
Just something I found interesting.

Just sucks that there’s no labels. What is all this?
Yeah, the panhandle basically fucks us on every election, mostly because anything above that line is, to use the scientific term, “really motherfucking cold.”

I remember one time a few years back, it was apparently colder in Winnipeg that it was on fucking Mars. We don’t stay here by choice.

That is intentional. Why would you overbuild expensive infrastructure like that? A big empty building staffed by expensive workers? Why?

No, you would set it all up so that there is just a bit more than what you need normally and work out agreements with others to share resources in emergencies.

The flaw here with Covid is that they were given resources and time and are still pissing and moaning about not having the capacity. The thing that they were supposed to have spun up years ago with that whole "two weeks" deal. That excuse don't work no more. We know they are full of shit and just saying the same old things to cover their asses. Disguising their incompetence as a public health crisis.

Exactly, ICUs are designed to run near capacity.
