There are plenty of kids that I WISH for the state. As soon as possible. Preferably before they're even dried off and the cords cut.

If a kid goes in to foster care before 3, with people looking to foster to adopt, they might do okay.

I think it's patronizing AF for doctors to deny tubal ligations to any woman. Some women can't use birth control for various reasons and accidents happen. If they are asking for sterilization, they've thought it over long and hard.

Women who had already lost 2+ children to the care system were offered intensive help with counselling, housing, courses, etc if they would go on long-term contraception such as the coil or implant while receiving support. Evaluations were positive iirc though I’m not sure how it’s fared during COVID and funding cuts.
