The wikipedia article talk page is going through its usual nitpicking, some seem triggered by the notion that if this is called "Freedom Convoy 2022" then all opposition will be anti-freedom, therefore bad, therefore rename it.

Most of the provinces are lining up to announce their own easing of restrictions. The Ottawa convoy is good as a rallying symbol but the border blockades are really where the real effectiveness is demonstrated. Its already cost Alberta tens of millions of dollars.

Saskatchewan dropped it all as of midnight tonight. I expect Kenney will say Friday at Midnight because he's too arrogant to give them an immediate win. He also intends to make it so Edmonton and Calgary cannot impose thier own mandates which is a GOOD THING.

I'm only used to seeing him in photos, usually they always involve him doing something noble and/or looking 'hot'. And most of the times, these photos are posted on reddit and the comments are filled with nothing but praise and how he's so much cooler and better than our icky politicians. Even then, I thought he was phony but didn't realize how fake and cringe he truly is until I listened to these live stream debates with him.

Liberal PM Joel Lightbound voiced support for the protests, watered it down by saying the psyop flags and honking in the middle of downtown was unacceptable. but said many of the more strict restrictions and mandates should be lifted. Also Trudeau spoke in parliament again but by the reactions we could hear it really does seem like the pendulum is really starting to swing the protestors favor in parliament.
