It all sounds very apropos. The truckers knew exactly what to do and it worked like a surgical strike that any response from Trudeau will make him and the government look like the bad guys. Moreso now since it seems the truckers are endearing themselves to the silent majority of Ottawans that are in support of them: they're cleaning trash off the streets, giving food to the homeless that their presence goes unnoticed to the locals, and they even agreed to abide by the injunction to stop honking for the next week, so nobody can complain that they're continuing to honk their horns in nuisance.

The truckers just simply need to stay put and keep their morale up no matter what sort of bullshit may be thrown at them by cops, glowies, and the mainstream media.

I haven't donated because I don't trust the people involved enough to think a BLM-tier heist is unfathomable. After covering costs of food, the money they raise should be diverted to their legal fees because it's clear the government will be pursuing that avenue against them.

This is why when people protest I always suggest doing it in a way where the people most annoyed are the people in actual office, there was a Garbageman Strike long while ago in a Texas town that went really south for the Garbageman union because the Garbage people..decided to dump a giant pile of Garbage in the middle of the main intersection in town.

The Strike ended not long later because everyone in town was absolutely Pissed the fuck off, part of being a protest is keeping enough goodwill that the Average person* doesn't actually want you beaten in the streets because you are making THEIR life miserable.


*I am talking about the actual Average person here, not a fucking Redditor that already hates your guts.

It never ceases to amuse me that the Bugmen don't realize how fragile their position in the Service Economy is. Most folks think of service economy as fast food and retail, but even programmers are service economy in most cases - You're not producing a good that is consumed, your facilitating something that ultimately goes towards a luxury or quality of life matter. Which means in a battle of economic wills, you will always lose. But these soys have such an inflated sense of ego that they genuinely believe the world runs off the back of their labor, and that the working class is on their foundation, not the other way around. More of their delusions from believing they are the fabled proletariat intellectuals.

Never seen a soy overcome a farmers wisdom once he's a couple bud lights into the night. Ain't no equality or philosophy to ponder when a moose comes outta the woodwork all angry like, and that'll teach you how the world really works better than any Vancouver school of art.

But it is true that both the best case & the worst case scenarios for the truckers will unfold by staying. If they backout now, they'll be singled out and harassed individually over time. They've to bargain immunity from prosecution along with the other demands

Okay, so Kenney announces the end of vaccine certificates but not to mask wearing and other mandates (e.g. social distancing, etc.), so the Coutts border is still being heavily blockaded by tractors, trucks, and any other big vehicle you can think of.

Also, if you were paying attention to news about the convoy on Sunday, you probably remember fuel being seized from this major camp pictured below.

Well it looks like every single container of fuel that was stolen was returned to the camp, and the camp is now resuming its regular donation of fuel to the truckers. So, go figure... I think? (image above and video below are both from @ThevoiceAlexa)

That's the disconnect. They think people who work with their hands only do so because they are incapable of doing anything else. It's quite the opposite in the trades. They don't seem to understand that most of what the managerial class does is cause problems so that they can incompetently solve them and it doesn't take a genius to do that. Being able to fix things in a straight-forward manner and take full responsibility, that's the difficult slot to fill.

Yeah that's kinda what's kept me from giving. It's hard to trust things like this unfortunately. I always prefer to buy or make what's needed myself and give it personally, that way I know what I'm giving will be used how I intend for it to be.

If I could do anything I would make a bunch of casseroles, cakes, and hot choccy and bring it to them - I can't because I'm a thousand miles away but girl tonight you look so pretty.
