The flag contains not only (count 'em) three crosses, but also imagery representing England, Scotland, Ireland and France, which was inclusive of something like 95+% of the population until approximately the 1960s (most of the rest were chugs and ukrops). Needless to say, that was incompatible with the Pearson-Trudeau vision for a giant brown global blob, and is thus racist. Too be honest though, progressives tend to be correct when they view the red ensign as a dog whistle, as, yes, it does tend to be one, and people who fly it are generally based.Why is the old flag racist? Because it's old?
