What I don't get is why aren't the sensible troons not saying "you dudes are making us all look bad, save this shit for private forums and behind closed doors", like how the gay rights movement in the 80s realised they'd have to stop talking about man-boy love and pretend they were always against it to get things moving in the right direction for them?

The "sensible" ones don't for the same reason a lot of normies don't - they get accused of transphobia and the jannies ban them from their little "safe spaces". On Reddit commenting even once in a truscum or transmedicalism sub gets you banned from a large number of LGBT subreddits and a handful of random ones. The echo chamber is too strong and the trenders too numerous.

For the uninitiated, truscum believe you need dysphoria it order to be trans, and transmeds believe being transgender is a medical condition where the end goal of treatment is to quietly blend into normal society.

I want to know the specifics on what they consider “misgendering”. Will this only apply to standard pronouns (“he”, “her”, “them” in the case of English) or will this extend to the bullshit that is neopronouns? For instance, if someone states that their pronouns are “sexyself”, “demonself”, or “cuntself”, or some other insult or slur, and you don’t use those, will there be consequences? What about the users who literally change their pronouns based on their mood throughout the day and expect you to remember which pronoun to use based on a specific combination of colored bracelets (yes, this is real)? Will you get punished for using the wrong pronoun at the incorrect time?

What happened? Did a powerful troon complain? Or is damn near everyone on TikTok a troon or gender special so they’re catering to them?

There's a pretty decent way to talk about these nuts without ever using pronouns. Just say its name where a pronoun would be. Everyone else gets talked about normally.
