I'm late, but agree wholeheartedly. This is why I can't listen to that Internet Investigator woman. $5 a month is a lot for the quality of vids she produces. I don't know why so many youtubers insist on having their face visible when it would be much nicer to have good audio and just a photo reel of relevant info. I'm convinced the reason she isn't using her mic correctly is so she can have more of her face visible, since that kind of mic needs to be quite close to not have that echo all her vids have.
But this is such a platform wide issue. There's so many youtubers I watch who constantly shill shitty products and have the exact same ad read, then they complain about monetization loss. Isn't monetization like 1 shekel per 1 mil views or something pathetic like that? Go get a part time job with a lot of downtime and go write your scripts there. And do I need to hear how hard your life is due to monetization on every fucking video? We get it. It's not like a lot of these people are actually making content, they read wikipedia, reddit, or the farms anyway.
