Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

Cheeky Australia 🇦🇺 update:

Still protesters camping in the designated free speech zone, and marching into parliament during the day. Less of a honkening now and more just a bunch of angry hobos. Nonetheless, they've kept it up for much longer than anyone thought, and hopefully this weekend will see more people from around the country arriving. Attitude in the telegram chats I'm skimming is still very positive.

Some absolute fucking legend has managed to capture and enslave one of the feds.

Gonna have to chime in with a hard nope on this. Under no grounds should a business be permitted to discriminate against an individual for any immutable reason - for the simple reason that its a near inevitability that as time goes on, and more power is consolidated in fewer firms, that they will abuse this power ceaselessly. Attempting to carve out exemptions and rules just encourages gamesmanship and political bullshit around definitions.

The solution to the gay wedding cake thought experiment is simple - Don't put gay wedding cakes on the display and menu, and don't advertise the custom cakes as part of the business. Do it as a side gig, a favor for friends. While I strongly object to a business being allowed to refuse their advertised services to anyone, a business is not required to offer services in excess of what they advertise, no matter what anyone demands. If custom cakes makes you have to write things you don't want to write, stop offering custom cakes. Simple as.

History has shown time and time again that you give evil so much as an inch, and they will take the mile.
What's more evil, telling someone you won't work for them, or compelling someone's actions and forcing their labor?

I've said it before but I'll repeat. Windsor has two methods to enter the States, the ambassador Bridge and the Tunnel. Trucks cannot enter the tunnel, so they'll be going to Sarnia for transport, but Nurses and any regular vehicle travel is still possible. This is just fear mongering.

Along with this, most of those "frontline workers" are working in the numerous Metro Detroit hospitals. I highly doubt there are many American nurses working in Windsor's hospitals. If they want to make American money they could live in the US and save the commute.

So yeah this is the next media narrative blitz. While in Ottawa we encountered a CBC cockroach basically saying that there's "children welfare concerns" since there are kids having fun, and fun has been illegal in Canada for two years.

Shitty angle, I know but I wanted to capture the background that the camera was getting. I didn't expect the narrative to be trying to snatch kids from their parents for.... Protesting peacefully.

Admittedly their angle wasn't great as they were heckled from the main areas. I was a part of that heckling calling them out for not challenging Fuhrer Legault for his ridiculous curfews not having any legitimate scientific basis.

I'll be posting more information later. Basically, these truckers aren't going anywhere. The protests are wholly peaceful. The cops are around in force but 90% of them are relaxed.

The honking is mostly quiet but there is music playing and trucks revving engines. The Honkening continues, brothers!

This is one of the coolest events in the blink of human history, I'm lucky to be able to witness it no matter what comes next. Infinitely more enjoyable than the embarrassing shitstain that was the Saint Floyd riots. Maybe as a peace offering the honkers can hand out earplugs to the counter protestors, they can show them how to use it too since they might confuse it with soft corner legos or something.

THEY ARE THE ONES WHO HONK

”Do…do I put it in my butt?”

I nominate this man leader of North North America for showing the tiniest bit of backbone in these fallen times. Led by his bravery, we will kick out all the little fuckers in parliament, giving them the option to drop it or the next kick might be the one that defenestrates them. We'll not be taking shit from some asshole politicians! Chaaaaaaarge!
Sir, your proposition is already flawed. If a kick comes there will be no option of stopping the follow ups.

"Trucker no trucking bad for government, government giving truckers rights good for truckers"

Damn what a mathematical analysis, absolutely stunning and in-depth
He only mentions math in the context of game theory, which is primarily concerned with strategy between 'players,' i.e. gaming out what would Player B do if Player A did X, vs what would Player B do if Player A did Y, then if Player B responded with Z, how would Player A respond? The intro to the subject that people typically use is the prisoner's dilemma. That post is more of a birds eye view, probably for the sake of readability for laymen, but it does make reference to certain game theory concepts, for example, Trudeau's lack of a 'dominant strategy.' The point is to think about the interplay of conflicting strategies, and how each side may react to different gambits. I guess one could make the argument that the whole game theory field is stupid, but barring that, it probably does not make sense to dismiss the post outright as being oversimplistic or w/e.

You guys have police pigs? Cute but wierd. What do they use them for sniffing things? Literal Pigcops LMAO!

Now if only assembled Ikea furniture was worth using. Ho hum.
Hey, some if it is perfectly cromulent if you put it together right. It's the best cheap option there is imo, plus if anything breaks they'll usually send you a replacement part for free. If you can't get a replacement then go buy some timber from the hardware store and hop to it. Repeat that enough times and you've basically just used your Ikea shit as a scaffold for making your own furniture from scratch, and I think that's neat.

Hahaha nah, someone's brought a pig with them and stuck a knockoff police dog vest on it.

Okay so I'm probably fucking this up, but that camera crew I took a picture of? Another convoy member confronted them over their quite frankly, disgusting report. That's from her view. From what I watched, I'm not doxing myself, but hey, even if I am.

Fuck Trudeau, fuck the RCMP (Don't think Canadians forgot your informant murdering 20 people and leading regular citizens to lose more gun rights), fuck every premier in power (even those removing restrictions as they dragged this shit out based on opinion polls and not science). The honks continue.

An interesting take from /pol/ that's making the rounds:

Well, call it what you will, I think this poster was over thinking it but it was executed brilliantly. Guaranteed a trucker was in the military and dealt with the nightmare logistics can be.
I replaced my water heater last month. I was recounting to a neighbor what an annoyance it was nigger-rigging up new supply lines after I found out the hardware store didn't have the type of union I needed.

This dude acted like I'd just revealed my secret capeshit identity when I talked about being able (and having the tools) to sweat copper fittings. How pitiful the bug man's life is.
It's also an urban bugman thing-my neighbor gave me a computer chair that was wonky and said "It's yours if you can fix it, if not throw it out". It took me a few minutes to see the base was off, slanted too much forward so I just took shims and drilled the bolts through them in the front, and used that chair for several years (it was a piece of junk tbh) He was really impressed. "Can cook and fix things? Wish I met you before I got married" (I smiled but was like yeah no).

No. Section ! does not confer upon the government anything. Basically it is the justification for prisons and other things that are also a violation of someone's human rights.

The Oakes Test provides the process the government must follow to enact it's authority under section 33.
That is not correct. The Oakes Test relates to Section 1, not Section 33:

What you describe in terms of justification for prisons may be why the original signers put it there, but Section 1 has been used to justify all kinds of major infringements. Ex: Canadians purportedly have freedom of speech, according to Section 2(b), and yet Canadians can be sent to prison for thought crimes ("hate"-related). This is on the basis of what "can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society" according to Section 1, ie some politician went to a judge and proved that making certain speech illegal is "demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society," despite infringing on freedom of expression. This would be a Section 1 Oakes Test in action, and has nothing to do with the Notwithstanding Clause or Section 33.

They want nothing more than to take the kids away from the parents.

Of course they do.

Forget the logistics of the matter of removing trucks. All that takes is time even if they only have one tow truck. But if the cops, or the military rolls up in force and starts tear gassing the protesters, there will be camera shots of toddlers and young kids clawing their fucking eyes due to tear gas while the cops arrest their parents and the parents resist being taken away from their kids.

The better optics is to get the kids out first and say "WELL SHIT THEY WERE HAVING FUN! CHILD WELFARE INTERVENED"

That being said, if the police/social services start trying to take kids, violence is guaranteed to occur. However, if the cockroaches in the Canadian MSM get the narrative of "Muh children starving from horrible parents with evil political views", enough normies might buy it and it would perhaps allow Trudeau and the cops to carry out worse suppression.

Not only the commute but nurses in Canada are often paid a quarter what they are in the US. It's the opposite, a fair chunk of Canadian nurses and other medical professionals work in the US.

GOD you fucking maple nigger leaf mother fuckers. You really think that anyone has it out for you? your niggers got to show the boers in south africa life for large tracks of last year. The red man gets to stand around and block an oil pipe line because everywhere a fucking cemetery when you rape and kill and murder nonstop and still expect the gas to huff and some gibs. And all of that was in the summer. The truckers Are out there in the winter being peaceful because you snowjews can't fathom not whipping them a little bit harder every fucking chance you get. have the fucking decency to not play the victim.

Last time I changed a tire a real cutie stopped to chat about how she'd gotten a flat recently. I'm spoken for so nothin doing there, but it's funny to think that all anyone needs to do to steal the bugmen's women (the real ones) out from under them is demonstrate basic functional skills and repair knowledge.
