Star Wars Griefing Thread (SPOILERS) - Safety off

6:40 ”He might even be Yoda’s son for all we know, he’ll then be much more inclined to be with Luke if he remembers this and remembers his family”

This would be fucking stupid, but I wouldn’t put it past Filoni for Grogu to be the result of Yoda and Yaddle banging in secret.
I mean why the hell not? I think it puts an interesting layer of hypocrisy on Yoda and the Jedi in general.

That poster would be great if it wasn't piss colored.

Once again, hair above casual here, but wouldn't Yoda actually having children and connections be TLJ levels of out of character/character assassination? Doesn't it really paint the Jedi in an extremely unflattering light in the prequels, to the point of making Anakin almost seem justified in turning to the dark side with the leadership essentially having a "rules for thee, not for me" philosophy? I mean, it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Disney make such a boneheaded decision but it feels like it should get as much backlash as Luke got for TLJ.

And that poster would seemingly represent everything wrong with Book of Boba Fett from what I read. Luke, Ahsoka and Mando take up half the fucking image for a show that's supposed to be about Boba Fett. There was absolutely no reason not to just call this Mandalorian Season 3, or at the very least "Mandalorian: Book of Boba Fett". (although another subtitle would have been better IMO)

To be fair, it's not like Luke had a lot of capital to hire a architect with.
I know we gotta continuously play Disney apologetics here, but come the fuck on. This guy was a major hero, leader and a poster boy for the rebellion as well as the brother of the alliance's patron saint while also having plenty of the Alliance's resources at his disposal, including plenty of abandoned temples and bases, including an uncolonized planet of teddy bears who love him, and doubly so after Coruscant gets reclaimed, and there would be no shortage of investors thankful for his and his sister's achievements.

Yet Disney has him settle for a pile of rocks and bamboo huts because its what that faggot JJ, Filoni and their story teams wanted so that when Rey Skywalker builds her temple it'll be bigger and better by comparison (with blackjack but no hookers since hookers are offensive) because that's the only way Disney knows how to prop up their new characters, by humiliating or dumbing down the predecessors they're replacing and shoving the past slowly into the static background to be forgotten unless when needed for cameo wank and guest star spots.

STUNNING AND BRAVE.

Wow what a fight! Let's just stand in front of a building and not use our jetpacks or additional cover or split up and let all the women countermand every single decision made by a man with a better idea. Let's fire nonstop at forcefields! Grampa Fett looked older than Bane. Now that we know Luke's intervention was a waste of time, I hope Grogs lifted the lightsaber anyway. The minute I see Kyle O'Lauren I'm out.

The copium being inhaled by fans is fucking amazing. "There's no way our lord and saviours could possible write something bad, Disney must have put a gun to their heads and forced them to write out something shit. It's the only explanation that makes sense."
It's probably going to be a divisive finale, I've already seen a few mixed reviews from the usual outlets.

No surprises here, but what a shitshow this last episode was. Episode 7 was seemingly edited by an intern that had a week's worth of experience with Sony Vegas and Robert Rodriguez cannot direct an action scene to save his life.

Book of Boba's biggest achievement is being so bad and incompetent it makes Mando S2 look good in comparison.

If anything came out of this show it's that Robert Rodriguez is a genuinely garbage director. Even fanboys who will eat up anything Disney shits out are noticing that whenever he's in charge of an episode it feels like a cheap CW show.
I still can't believe he directed Desperado. It's like he got hit on the head and went retarded while making From Dusk Til Dawn
