Do we think that he lies in his legal filings on purpose or that he’s just twisted the truth in his head to favour him so much that he genuinely believes what he’s writing?
He keeps bringing up that his other suits have nothing to do with the ADA but his lawsuit of Grande revolved entirely around him being discriminated against for his disability. Does he think that doesn’t count because he didn’t ask for accommodations?

Every single suit he’s filled he’s mentioned that he thinks something happened because of his gorked up face. I mean, everything bad that’s ever happened to him in his life he claims has happened because of his permanent gimp mask.
Surely, if they chose to, Molly et al could point this out to the court? They’ve spoken about his pattern of behaviour in his lawsuits, and if there’s one thing Rusty loves more than suing women who don’t give him suck, it’s using his disability as a shield for his terrible, terrible actions.
He's both lying and telling the truth, in a sense. Russell has the same exact plan for every one of his lawsuits. It basically goes like this:
- Make an effort to "impress" his current obsession. When said effort inevitably is ignored, proceed to step two.
- Sue the obsession, claiming discrimination on the basis of disability.
- Exaggerate and make up as many scenarios as possible to paint yourself as some poor, mistreated, unlucky underdog whose life is just so sad and pathetic. Make sure to stress that none of it is your fault.
- When your current obsession shows up in court, they'll get to see you in person, and by seeing how distraught you are, and reading what you've been through, obsession will take pity on you, realize just how mean they've been, and fully apologize as well as ask you out on a date to suck you your penis.
This is why Russell gets really angry when his victims don't show up in court themselves and instead have lawyers to represent them. He firmly believes that, if they would just see with their own eyes how unfair life has been to him, then they'll take pity on him and give him what he wants.
He exaggerates all of the shit about anxiety, depression, vomiting from stress, and trauma lumps, all because he wants to make himself look as pathetic as possible while also stressing that it's not his fault, somehow.
"It's not my fault my face is fucked up! My face has led to me developing all these psychological issues which makes me behave the way I do! If only you would take pity on me and look past my gimp face, you would cure all of my ailments!"
This is also why he gets mad at seeing other disabled people get recognition and sympathy for being disabled. "I'm disabled too! Why am I not getting that kind of recognition and sympathy?!"
Every single one of his lawsuits banks on being able to meet his obsession in person, all so he can just explain his horrible life and make them take pity on him. And then, just like every cliche Disney movie or rom-com out there, they'll have a change of heart, realize how cruel and unkind both they and life have been to poor, mistreated Russ, and finally give him what he wants.
It never works this way, of course, both because Russell is supremely retarded and a massive narcissist. He literally cannot comprehend the fact that it's his own actions that make people hate him. He lies in his lawsuits for sympathy, and uses those lies to try and justify his abhorrent behavior, but anybody with even a modicum of common sense can see through that flimsy excuse for what he really is.
