I know I’m late on replying about this, but this seems like Mauler is now blatantly just shitting on people simply for enjoying something. Like, I watched the first episode of TBOBF with my dad, but I’m not interested in it at all. Yet this seems to fly in the face of his whole sentiment that he doesn’t care if people like or enjoy something that’s oBJeCtIvElY bad.

So I guess Mauler’s now saying you aren’t allowed to enjoy something if he doesn’t like it.
In MauLer's eyes, he thinks he's showing his audience how "shallow" Disney Star Wars fans are. He thinks he and his friends are no consoomers at all.

In my eyes, MauLer literally can't let anything positive be said about a series he has "proven" to be bad. The Book Of Boba Fett is one of the most criticized star wars projects Jon and Dave have had any major involvement in; Cad Bane is one of the few times people went "wow, this is getting interesting" and MauLer isn't going to let that stand. So since he can't say the show sucks any harder, he's moving on to undermine the people who enjoy it. Because fuck em I guess?

I hope RLM makes a video that praises the Book of Boba Fett. MauLer's method of coping with having the unpopular opinion these days is to cause as many dumpster fires as possible, and it's the closest to entertaining he gets anymore.

Have EFAP acknowledged the ChaseFace allegations against him?
Nope, they haven't. Infact, barely anyone from the entire community has. Most you got was some brief talk about it in Trash-Compactor. Majority of the people responding admit it doesn't look good, but wanna wait until Chaseface refutes this evidence himself with counter-evidence, but I don't believe he's going to... He fled from the EFAP server.

Chaseface isn't a one-time guest, he's been semi-regularly popping up since the beginning of EFAP... the least you could do is make a brief announcement about this. Chaseface is so irrelevant anyways, that it seems like everyone's already forgotten about it.

I think it's good to a degree to talk about normies eating up shit like anything Disney makes these days and how that ruins art/culture, but MauLer is a retarded hypocrite here. He and his fwens SOYJAK over anything with MCU Spider-Man and love tons of retarded shit that can be picked apart. It has been pointed out many times how these faggots in the Fan-dumb Man-ass are surrounded by cheap products like toys even though they are over 30 and talk about not giving money to these companies. MauLer doesn't really care about pointing out how braindead consoooooomers are (he is one himself), he just wants to be like RLM with the Nerd Crew.

RLM doesn't seem to care about anything streaming relating to Star Wars, Marvel, or even Star Trek anymore. But it would be funny as an April 1st video to say how great all the Star Wars shows are. MauLer and co are SO fucking autistic I'm sure they'd do a stream on it and talk for 5 hours if they are being serious or not.
Has EFAP acknowledged the ChaseFace allegations against him?
EFAP never talks about allegations or proof of someone in there club being a creep. This has happened a few times now like with Dishonored Wolf. They cry about their poor movies and shows going woke but say nothing about stuff like that. Tells you everything you need to know about what fucking manbaby losers they are.

Can we dispel with this notion that if we maintain logical consistency or good writing, that companies or creators will follow suite? I hate to be cynical but most of the time, when a ground breaking piece of media becomes popular, the copycats are mostly mediocre and shallow. Let's assume a work became popular because it followed the EFAP standard, do these idiots honestly think the copycats are gonna be like "hey, this follows consistency, let's do that" rather than "look at these superficial elements, let's do that"?

ECUM member also backtracks shitting on EFAP for mocking Star Wars Theory's reaction to Luke Skywalker and Browntable's Spider-Man costume:

This Zodiac guy is a total midwit but at least he has good taste in women from what I've seen. I think the main issue is these retards, and ANYONE linked to the FM, thinking they make a difference when it comes to Hollywood. It's amazing how fucking nuts they are, like Doomcock buying fake posts on 4chan that the show runners of nuStar Trek got so mad one of them broke a TV or something over him. This idea that any writer or director gives a shit about hyper autistic nerds that do 10 hour streams is pretty funny lol Even Ethan Ralph is less delusional.

Hollywood does not really care what critics say unless they are all pointing something out that can be linked to loss of money. Look at the Transformers movies and how much money they make. Critics have been ripping them apart since the first one came out and they have gotten worse and worse scores. Hollywood is just getting shittier and shittier, so why even care about future movies at this point? Oh, because they are NEET losers.

EDIT: Amazing that so few people care about them that even in this thread I didn't see this posted here. Just for consistency

Didn't watch the whole video but their anger at Cad Bane walking out of the desert and then walking back into the desert because 'it doesn't make sense' upsets me for some reason. Why can't they just let a shot be cool? Does it actually matter how Bane got there or walked back? These guys would probably throw a fit over the whole graveyard scene from The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly for similar reasons. This isn't even a Dark Knight Rises moment with bruce getting out of the prison, as him getting back to Gotham quickly does technically matter to the story. Not even saying I like the scene or not, just seems they try and find the most miniscule things to complain about.

They got filtered by a very obvious homage to Sergio Leone because they don't watch movies before the 80s and they're too autistic to see past its face value.
This is why you dont ignore movies before a specific date.

Imagine them watching an Old West classic like the extended cut of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. They'd bitch so much through it and I'm sure call the ending dumb. "Why doesn't he just shoot Angel Eyes NOW?!?!?!?!"

If I have learned anything from following people online that talk about media, if they are such big fans of The Simpsons they can recall countless episodes off the top of their head, drop them ASAP. The Simpsons is the Reddit of cartoon shows.
I find it funny how many people can name-drop their favorite Simpsons episodes but never seem to remember the many times the Simpsons made fun of nitpicky fans getting caught up on things that don't matter.

"Lightsabers are dumb but the plot engineers it so that it works."

Wtf? What's Rags' point here? That the Jedi don't use blasters? The stupid is hurting my brain.
I guess they never watched Rebels where the Kanan Jarrus used a blaster to hide the fact that he was a Jedi.

Or maybe this Obi-Wan quote triggers him (pun not intended).

Their criticism on story worlds in movies seems to be more and more arbitrary, like they realized their "standards" caught them in a web where they have to apply it selectively or make really retarded excuses for it. They should just drop the act and admit that these elements like weapons, tools, etc. are specific to different stories and have different functions that you can't apply a standard to. I don't understand why they sperg out over fantasy settings having swords or variants of swords exist with gun/gun-like weapons.

My favorite one for me to think about is how they would cry about the opening to Once Upon a Time in the West. They would have a heart attack over effectively 10 minutes of literally nothing happening, because 'it doesn't advance the plot.'

I know the "write a better story" is an argument used to deflect criticism but I think it's a valid case here considering how much EFAP and their orbiters tout how their standards will create a great story. Surely the guys would be able to crank out masterpiece after masterpiece. Although, considering how lazy MauLer and co have become, it'll probably be too hard.

Also, Fringy brought back his dead podcast, Cosmoronic. Place your bets on how many episodes before it implodes again.

Pointing out flaws and giving writing advice is easier than implementing the writing advice. This happens a lot in "authortube". Amateur writers giving writing advice while writing shitty books that ignore said advice, that they sell to their fans.

Shadow of the Conquerer by Shad was mentioned in this thread earlier and the main character in that book is the biggest mary sue.

write a better story
I love the irony in how much they hate the "Do Better" scene in FatWS when that's all their advice and criticism really boils down to nowadays.
Not even saying I like the scene or not, just seems they try and find the most miniscule things to complain about.
I think the issue is that Rags (and it's almost always him) feels like he has to nitpick every single thing in the episode. The most egregious part is how he keeps harping on about spice when the it's blatantly fucking obvious that it's supposed to be drugs, just replace every instance of spice with cocaine and it's effectively the same thing. Hell, at the end of the opening scene of that episode the cast didn't know what was going on when it was so blitheringly obvious: A lawman sees illegal activity but decides to look the other way if the criminals leave, but the criminals decide to fight him but get mowed down with one survivor who didn't draw in time who he lets live so that he can inform the Pykes that Mos Pelga is off limits. Perhaps if they didn't chat shit over the entire scene they would've figured out what's happening, but that's too smart for them at this point.

I stand by they make no effort to understand what they review on the Podcast.

Shadiversity comes to mind with the whole write a better story thing. Haven't given Shadow of the Conqueror a read yet so I cannot speak on behalf of its qualities or lack thereof.
Also, Knights Watch >>> EFAP
