Over a year ago I saw some articles about people in Australia testing positive for HIV after being vaccinated. Story being that 'rona material was attached to fragments of HIV because I guess that's just the virus that made most sense to use as a carrier. I'm not well-versed on virology, immunology, etc., but as far as I know fragments do not cause their related diseases and have been used in vaccines before. Issue is these fragments can still cause people to test positive for whatever virus the fragments came from and so the Australian government decided to shelf whatever that vaccine was to keep as many people on board with vaccination as possible. Haven't heard anything about it since, but I wouldn't be surprised if they and other countries silently went ahead with it a few months later.
