I strongly disagree that he’s oppositional defiant disorder for a few reasons
- pat lies constantly. it’s one of the most blatantly insane things he does. this is not part of ODD symptoms.
- when he lies sometimes it’s about weird shit like winning awards for model building. this is not to defy any authority. the behavior fits better with narcissistic personality disorder.
- he isn’t actually defiant towards authority figures. he strongly identifies with the status quo corporate and government powers, and spends most of his day trying to police strangers who are defiant. the people he fights most often are not in positions of authority.

Not only is Patrick not intimidating enough to ever pull that off, I also don't believe he has the mental maturity to do the whole "voice of reason" thing while someone else is being loud and rude. I think he would immediately stoop to their level and get in a shouting match. He'd start with the whole "baby child, I'm superior to you, be silent!" thing, and then it would devolve into namecalling and shouting.
