I mean Rushia fucked up with the whole Discord thing but if gachis weren't insane this wouldn't be a big deal and everyone would move on in a day.

Gachikoi can't really help it. They're mentally ill. They're selling valuable stuff just to afford merch. They're having panic attacks when their kayfabe is questioned. They do not function well in society and they are all terminally single.

I think 'blame' is not quite appropriate, but companies don't indulge in niche subcultures known for attracting lots of socially retarded paypigs by accident. The company knew what they were doing, Rushia knew what she was doing, most fans who aren't plugged into the culture know what's going on, the marketing team know what they're doing when they make bridal merch and engagement rings (the former does apply to Nijisanji too, by the way).

I refer back to my lootbox comment. You can't blame gambling addicts for being enabled, you have to look at the enabler.

shitposting aside, I can still pretty much guarantee you they do give a shit. either from a very cynical "every paypiggy counts" standpoint, or from a creator standpoint to make you happy and be liked for what they do.
of course that means they don't necessarily care about you or me specifically (although they are still are able to remember names even in big ass fast moving chats), but that parasocial relationship works both ways. just look at watame. sure, it's not the same for them as for us, but it still exists, and don't forget this is japan which takes "for my fans" up a notch to the point they don't even take breaks or holidays.
it's easy for us to meme about, but at the same time none of us is a creator, so there's simply no representation from that perspective. or look at it this way, imagine you put yourself out there - and no one cares. you're boring and your content is not as clipworthy as others going HAM. audiences are fickle. I could take it because I'm an asshole, but now apply that to yagoo's house of broken girls, or worse indies all on their own. part of their personality is inevitably bleeding into the character, that's why we like them, so it's easy to see they are all decent human beings (or the most extreme psychopathic method actor on the planet). ofc there will be catfights and bitchiness behind the scenes, but that's normal since there's still a human behind the 2d for now.

you can't fault them for the content they produce, they enjoy doing it, people enjoy seeing it, everybody's happy. if you want to blame someone direct it towards the fringe of a fringe who lost track that's it's entertainment and an act. or to give you another example, some actor aces the villain role, lots of people enjoy him being evil, should he stop just because some people start copying it or worse (and yes, that's a thing). be aware that means the vast majority would miss out of due to a slim minority if he stops doing those roles. of course on the other hand it can lead to him being typcasted forever to the point he starts to hate the role - but does that mean he hates his fans now too?

point I'm trying to make is that the creator/audience relationship is much more complicated than "they're faking it for money, they deserve everything they get and have no say in the matter". most people can take rushia doing GFE without going apeshit over it, and yes, hearing HURR IT'S FAKE constantly doesn't help, those people didn't solve some big mystery pointing that out...

I'd honestly be pretty pissed if I was Rushia and actually in a relationship with him. Considering he seems to have no problem with him and his buddies throwing her under the bus by regurgitating that she's some hussy and the person who started all this. Knowing full well that she has no ability to defend herself without digging a deeper hole.

Both Cover for allowing it even knowing that was going to be reckless and shit like this was going to happen and Rushia for liking the dosh and fame to much that did not even bother to triple check her opsec for psychos that would be attracted by her entire gimmick

Thats why the rest barely play the GFE shtick, they know to have a separation between them and the simps, get them attached to pay but not too attached to get idiots that sell their kidneys for merchandising

I just hope she doesnt do something menhera tier, learn about proper opsec, not thirst for twinks and go back to work

the parasocial gachis need to get a grip on reality because clearly this shit isn't good for them.

And Rushia/Cover should be more than aware at this point that pandering to that mindset is playing with fire. And the sames true on Mafu's side of the equation.

Beyond that my only criticism of it all would be that it was quite the bonehead move that she even had notifications on but then again she's had that issue time and time again over the years showing parts of her discord window in streams and other shit. She definitely needs better opsec because she's practically Nolan level at this point.

That said I do hope Rushia comes out of this OK.

The only thing I find interesting is the rrat that Rushia did this on purpose to force that faggothead to marry her. I might have underestimated this girl if that's true.

Don't be mad at me, but have you heard of Streamer Mode and Do Not Disturb?

If Rushia's business was GFE, that's fine, but she fucked up. If she's smart, she leans on her other talents going forward. If she doesn't wanna give up GFE, well most of that ship has burnt and sunk by now, but she needs to pray her fans see that the dude she was after and their mutual friend have buried her ass on stream. If she's dumb she comes out and addresses all this and Mikeneko aka Mi-chan and Rushia will effectively cease being actor and character.

Her winning move is that she has to keep quiet to save Rushia and she goes all in on her work. Meanwhile she watches part of her fanbase she worked to build up into loyal paypigs denounce her, women curse her and the man she wanted ditch her for his own ass. She will have no mouth, but she will damn well want to scream. And it's all on her.

That's the big secret, at the end of the day, Mikeneko screwed herself over. And that's all I think of the matter.

Edit: Cover won't fire her for this, but they can't help her. She's fucked up beyond their league.
