On that note, if there’s anyone here that can remember threadworthy Moth shit that preferably isn’t sourced from anything to do with Jimmy, go post it in the Jimmy thread over in PG. I know that sounds contradictory, yet with the news of Jimmy “leaving” the idea is to make it a combined thread for both as containment.

Anyone else see true crime youtubers getting sponsored by Disney+ shilling the trainwreck that is Boba Fett? I already found two. Didn't think Diesney would associate with true crime.

New Wendigoon video is up. He covers Dante's Purgatorio. He actually got pretty emotional near the end of the video, I usually cringe when youtubers do that, but it was actually a pretty wholesome reason and could tell he genuinely felt it. He also shut down his Patreon as he stated "he doesnt need it anymore and prefers people keep their money" after having 1 million subscribers.

I'm so glad Wendigoon is covering the other parts of Dante's Divine Comedy. Purgatorio and Paradiso are completely overshadowed by Inferno so it's nice to see them get a bit of love from a big youtuber.

And also shutting down his Patreon and letting his followers keep their money? I'll admit that takes balls.

He said on Twitter that the next video will probably be out in early May and clock in at four hours long. Honestly, while I really liked the Deep Blue video I generally prefer the shorter ones like the Austrian wine poisoning or mouse utopia. It'll likely be good because they always are but damn.

Same. His genuine gratitude, humility and respect for his audience are miles from someone like Lindsay Ellis, who quit content production at 1.2M subs but has left her Patreon up for months after the fact and cried poverty. Wendigoon is doing it right.

I really liked Deep Blue, felt like an entire sports anime but just with a different brand of autism. Legit had me rooting for that machine.

Well thats a first. Is starting to really grind my teeth to listen to youtubers begging patreonbucks every 30 seconds and overly censoring their own content to to keep monetization when they are already getting plenty of money from a sponsor and don't even need to pull that shit on their audience.

I enjoyed this video a lot. I unfortunately didn't even realize there was Purgatorio and Paradiso. Admittedly, I also got emotional when he did (for reasons I will not PL into). And the fact that he decided to shut his Patreon down now since he doesn't feel the need to keep it open is amazing. I don't think I've ever seen a YouTuber do that. It just adds to the reasons why I enjoy his stuff so much.

I never really liked him because of his religious fixations and for how easily spooked he gets, but damn, he earned a lot of my respect for doing that.

Wait, is that the exact title you just saw it as? Because it changed yet again on my end to “MY LAST VIDEO RESPONSE TO PLAGUED MOTH DOXXING ME”. If it really did just change twice in the last few minutes, right when a certain threadbanned user’s self-admitted alt just showed up, well ain’t that suspicious.

On that note, I’m genuinely confused by him calling Wendigoon a “Christian mtf”. Unless it’s a weird misspelling/slang, which I wouldn’t doubt, I can only assume that he thinks “Wendi” is “her” name.
