Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

I don’t know why people just don’t seem to get it. Computers are really good at two things: pattern recognition, and doing simple, repetitive tasks over. Self-driving cars through LIDAR and computer vision are a fun proof of concept, but they’re absolutely NOT something you want on the street in large numbers as they are.
Rolling Stone being their usual disingenuous cunt selves. You're "anti-protest" if you dared to tell the truth about the Summer of Love.

If those “American” companies were so worthy of respect, maybe they shouldn’t have moved their factories to Canada?

I fully support Joseph Stalin's full determination here. This is the biggest chance to fight this shit in two years in Canada.
The Canadians aren't fighting just for themselves. They fight for everyone around the world who is sick and tired of having the boot of politicians' Chinese Flu-related oppressive measures on their necks. That's why we're seeing more truckers going out, in other countries. In the USA we're seeing Dem politicians ending/relaxing their oppressive measures. They also know mid-term elections are coming up. Not going to save many of them; the people acutely remember the last two years of oppression.

The politicians turned a middling-at-best health issue into a naked power grab. They have lost. And they have lost in the future, when those whom the politicians have betrayed ignore them the next time they cry "WOLF!".

When you donate to the Canadian truckers, you're also donating to those who are fighting for us, too.

I don't think Teslas use LIDAR, they got a combination of ultrasonic, forward radar, and cameras. LIDAR wouldn't help much at this point. It's not an issue with the sensors, it's an issue with the neural net processing the input. Self-driving cars are not happening until either we have a significant breakthrough in AI or until we completely change our road infrastructure to suit self-driving vehicles better, at which point they'll be closer to streetcars and trolleys.

WTF? :story::story::story:

That "90% of truck drivers are vaccinated" stat is thrown around a lot, but I haven't seen any proof. No one responds to dumb industry surveys on a good day, and if they are threatening to fire people who answer the wrong way, then no one who disagrees will answer. I don't think the government vaccination databases contain people's occupations. If it were really true that 90% of drivers willing got vaccinated, then they wouldn't be struggling to find a single tow company in the entire country who is willing to tow the truckers.
It's a distraction. The whole thing is because of mandates, not vaccinations. 90% of truckers got the vax. Great. That is higher than most industries and demographics. Now leave them alone.

But they couldn't let it stand with just that. They had to compel vaccinations. They have to find the next target to keep their "bad guy" narrative going. "It would be over if _____ just did _____" is how they are CYA on their failed policies. They are trying to fool the public into believing that some "other" group is at fault. Rather than, y'know, it's a cold virus. It was dumb trying to lockdown, mandate, and vax it away. That it's never going to happen. Covid is here forever no matter what they do. That they were wrong.

WTF? :story::story::story:
Socialist/communist types had to dredge up Marx's "petite bourgeoisie" concept in order to reconcile opposing the truckers with their ideology. Basically if you're a member of the working class but not a lefty, you're the enemy.

"Why are you so mad at the person who raped you?" Corporations are the major reason for these lockdowns and mandates.
This, COVID has been a wet dream for Mega-corporations, they can afford a massive revenue decline for a couple years without much, if any, fanfare, and even if problems do occur they can just get a bail out. Smaller corporations and local businesses can't afford it as they either live quarter by quarter or even day by day. The Megacorporations can just sit back and laugh as smaller competitors eating into their potential revenue withers and dies.

It's ironic that the one thing they have to do to earn trust back is not lie to the public about how the virus isn't going away, and yet they think they need to present themselves as infallible to appear trustworthy.

Those goalposts are on wheels.

And everything about that image, from the art style to the arguments, is juvenile.

Call me superficial, but those CalArts-tier illustrations, which belong in a Kindergarten classroom, piss me off more than the rhetorical Calvinball.

What? Do they think truckers don't earn their wages or something? They aren't even landlords in the usual sense, even if you stretch the definition of landlord to "owning anything that could be used to earn money".
