US Waukesha massacre suspect Darrell Brooks pleads not guilty to all charges - It was the SUV

The Milwaukee man accused of killing six people and running over dozens with an SUV at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisc. pleaded not guilty to every charge laid against him.

According to the local Fox affiliate, Darrell Brooks, 39, pleaded not guilty to all 77 charges against him.

Brooks remains in jail on $5 million bail. GoFundMe confirmed to FOX Business in November that they removed the fundraiser for violating the crowdsourcing platform's Terms of Service. Additionally, the person who launched the fundraiser, reportedly a man named James Norton, will no longer be permitted to use the platform for any future fundraisers.

The courts have said that there is ample evidence against Brooks, as well as testimony from police detective Thomas Casey, who described how Brooks plowed into citizens even after some yelled at him to stop. Brooks allegedly "zigzagged" across the street "for blocks" at the family event.

Victims include an 8-year-old boy, along with members of the Dancing Grannies troupe, that was performing in the parade.

Public defender Anna Kees said that her defendant could not turn off the route, and that he did not intend to hit pedestrians. She also said that Brooks couldn't bring himself to look at photos of the crimes he allegedly committed.

It's pretty much a legality thing; innocent until proven guilty (despite how obvious it is), and news orgs can be sued for not being "correct" in how they label a defendant.

Most mistrials like that result in a retrial, which will waste even more money. Mistrials with prejudice result in the defendant walking, but usually require prosecutorial misconduct. If you're referring to the Dayonte Resiles trial, I believe he's currently being re-tried for that one. It seems like a waste of time and money, but again, he doesn't have much to lose

Let me preface this by stating for the record that I hate this piece of shit and would take significant delight if he were to ever be slowly loaded feet first into a woodchipper.

Now that's out of the way, its scummy, but the dude made the right call at least for himself here. Once you take a plea deal and admit guilt that's it, you're pretty much done. And there have actually been legit cases of people being pressed into pleading guilty despite actually being innocent, but because they plead guilty, it fucks with their record and is a bitch to get such things rectified. And I'm not even talking confessions - the actual entry of a guilty plea is what fucks you over.

So while he is a complete and utter piece of shit it's not surprising he plead not guilty and tbh if you ever find yourself facing a death penalty/life sentence tier case I humbly offer my non legal advice that you should do the same even if they literally arrest you with blood on your hands, plead not guilty.

Did he say "I was scared." That's my favorite defense, the fucking Hi-Fi Killers used that when they made people drink bleach, raped one of them, and stomped a ballpoint through one of their throats. I swear if someone plays up being a Christian and goes, "We need to be forgiving because it's what Jesus would want!" I'll laugh my ass off, Christ was forgiving when people felt the weight of their sin, not the weight of consequence.

At some point vendetta and revenge killings will comeback. You can't cripple someone's kids and murder their parents without someone going for blood. This guy showed a pattern of behavior unless his car was damaged the last time he tried running someone over he really should go to God.

He tried to run down and hit an ex girlfriend two weeks before he committed his mass murder in Waukesha. He doesn't strike me as someone who does regular maintenance so it's very likely he literally had the blood of someone else on his vehicle at the time of the attack.

Stop fucking doom posting, this is just basic peacocking by the defense in an attempt to get a better plea deal. The defense attorney was given an absolute turd of a case and likely a delusional client whom is under the belief he can just OJ his way out of murder charges. The retard is trying to negotiate to something like 30 years + probation when he is lucky to get a offer for 6 life sentences and 710 years for the other 71 charges. The evidence is super solid just like the Rittenhouse case, extensive video footage in the public and likely a lot of private video such as those doorbell video cameras on the route the guy escaped from. There is no fucking way this case is getting fumbled and anyone who argues otherwise is an idiot. For that matter I don't believe this was an "attack" but rather a fucking low IQ moron digging himself into a hole because his decision chain was fucked to begin with. Yes, he showed anti-white shit on his Facebook but this is generic shit all black people do. My view of the entire incident is that this fuckstain got into a fight at the local park with the boat launch, a knife was pulled according to the 911 calls, this guy either stabbed someone or was fleeing the scene for some other reason and immediately encountered a cop which put him into 'Car Chase' mode that you see out in LA all the time. He goes down the street and finds himself in the middle of the parade route but is too fucking stupid to just ditch the car and disappear into the crowd so he keeps pushing forward and hits the mass of people. Anyone whom has dealt with blacks in the hood knows they get mentally locked when mad/excited and repeat the same fucking thing over and over again or do stupid shit, this was a case of the brain lock. He did hit those people and killed several, but the blame doesn't stop with him alone, the Judge who set his bail stupidly low should be held to account for such reckless behavior, if he was still in jail for his prior cases this never would have happened.

Having him in a criminal mental facility indefinitely is a bigger win for society than prison. It's not a win for him, and it's easier on the system because it's an admission of guilt and just becomes a question of culpability if he fails to prove he was nuts it goes straight to sentencing with pretty much nothing to beg for leniency on.

You don't really want to be not guilty by reason of insanity, it's pretty much worse than guilty in every way.
