Canadian Truckers Convoy 2022 - The Leaf calls you a Nazi as he gasses you

The people, writ large, and at risk of oversimplification, who took power in the French Revolution are the current establishment. So, not a great comparison.
They were not at the time. The sans culottes were the working class, the laborers, the farmers. They became the establishment later on.
Also, stealing their very words and throwing them back at them is the best revenge.

Nothing is happening yeah, but look at all these people having a good time in the streets, blasting their music, getting along and shit. Worth watching the stream just for that.

Canada's having their moment and what a great moment it is.

The fact that hundreds of people are here basically telling Trudeau and Ford to go fuck themselves is such a whitepill. No matter how the fuck this ends millions of Canadians are fucking done, and do not feel alone. Three provinces+ finally ending this bullshit after absolutely nothing two weeks ago is a goddamn victory.

Oh goodie, from where? If nothing happens tonight in Windsor, that means police were probably already diverted to Ottawa. Legault isn't giving up Quebec cops because he knows he's goddamn next and the moment Quebec City/Montreal looks weak, people will jump.

Toronto needs cops due to the Ontario Parliament. You have a lot of border crossings other than Windsor they probably want cops nearby (Sarnia has been on and off blocked since the start). And crime doesn't goddamn disappear when there's a protest.

This is all very romantic, but it's simply not true. The people who actually took power were the urban Parisian bugmen, who, as today, LARPed as the working class while the actual peasants were either apathetic or hostile. As they say in France, plus ça change...

"We have been enforcing all the laws available to us, including the new powers under the civil injunction. Our ability to enforce it fully is a direct proportion to our ability to have additional resources," Sloly said. "The new powers give us new tools, but without new resources we can't enforce to any greater degree more than we've been able to do so now."
The police chief told the board that as soon as the new provincial orders are in effect, Ottawa police will brief officers to "enforce them to the fullest extend that our resources allow."
OCP is flat-out admitting what they're trying to get away with is physically and logistically unenforceable. :story:

Maybe, but a Parisian bugman didn't write it. So there, nyah

In case this hasn't been posted, a Canadian army major committed career suicide and is being granted a two minute hate by all regime media outlets.

And yes, he knew what he was getting himself into. CAF members are legally barred from participating in or publically commenting upon political protests (fag parades don't count, of course). He knew he'd be raked over the coals and given the "hatless dance", and did it anyway. A tiny little bird tells me the CAF is dealing with a lot of, ahem, problematic individuals on social media. Good thing I'm not a current CAF member, or I'd be concerned. Yep.

This man is a true warrior. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Canadian and US militaries fight for freedom. It's a shame he will lose his job and livelihood for this. It's equally shameful the force he belongs to will lose one of their finest.

As for the censored parts, is that a thing? Did he do it before posting, or did someone else do it? I watch a lot of wrongthink on YT, without censored bits like that. First time I've seen it.

The live chat is full of shills and Honks
:story: Which one of you autists are spamming the chat with ACAB?

Thanks for elaborating. Glad things aren't as bad as my data suggest. I have experience working for the Canadian arm of a certain Fortune 500 as a developer. Quit that to join a significantly smaller corporation. Now, software's a gig/service/art thing for me. I keep up with the CS research / theory end of things. From my angle, things look very grim. Everything's getting culturally enriched. Trannies/degenerates/mental-illness everywhere. Actually useful coders with vision and comprehension seem to be trending down.

Canada is America's hat. General assumption is that Canada's like a blue state except for when it isn't. That there are pockets of sane development left in Yankeeberg suggests the same for Canuckistan.
In the US, a lot of companies sing the public woke praises while quietly moving to Texas or Florida, hiring based on skill and letting all the developers work from home. This allows all the woke employees to congregate in their little bubble and think they are running things, while actual talent gets paid, stays out of the spotlight and gets shit done.

I really do think remote work is going to kill the woke movement in companies by reducing them to containment groups/teams. Can't be mad at the white males getting shit done if you don't know the team exists.

Nope you swear your loyalty to the president (governor if you're guard) and the constitution. If something the government tells you to do is ruled "constitutional" by the government then you are expected to obey.

I don't know about leafs but in burgerland you swear an oath to the constitution and if you are ordered to do something illegal the you are required, yes, REQUIRED, to refuse. Following orders is not an affirmative defense.
