Sometimes I wonder if he’s deciding none of this was worth getting the top job, but then I realize that he likely isn’t capable of making that judgement anymore. Then I want to feel bad for someone out of his depth so badly but fuck him. Hope his team enjoys presiding over the massive pendulum shift that’s coming.
You do know Biden isn't calling any shots right? All the decisions are being made by deep state goons and career bureaucrats so void of empathy they're basically machines.

That's why everything coming out of this administration feels so weird and disjointed. Like at one moment they're sperging about white privilege and then trying to start a bloody war five seconds later.

Of course I know. That’s why I started with him saying “this job isn’t worth it” and then took it south.

It is staggering how similar this is to the email situation Hillary had and yet Democrats didn't give a shit about that.
Current logic is because Hillary isn't president.
Because the importance of federal documents and servers magically don't matter because you're not the POTUS.
Also not asking why she had important documents. BTW.

Republicans introduce the Halting the Use of Narcotics Through Effective Recovery Act of 2022, or the HUNTER Act of 2022, which stops federal money from being spent on buying crack pipes.
:story:
Oh god if the Republicans are this thirsty for wins then they should keep digging into California Legislation, there's a lot of tasty recent bills atm.
Like that "not punishing crime" thing. And State DA's literally not doing their jobs and flagrantly stating their biases.

As always, the DNC's biggest lynchpin is also the best way to lynch them.

Yes, or at least act like it. I saw a kid get shamed into submission in a public text group for referring to singing dixie land at a karaoke bar.
A coworker who could not bring himself to say Trump's name and shat on him for being racist and rude is the only man I've ever heard say "nigger" in the workplace and taught me the phrase "jewish lightning"
They have no morals or standards. They just think the other team is bad.

Journos mad that Biden and his staffers are heading to Camp David to sniff more young girls instead of giving them rimjobs like they, the true defenders of democracy, deserve!

The journo here is right though. This is optically -horrible- if anything actually goes down. And he gets kudos from me for shutting down the argument of "But Trump!".

To the average joe, this looks like Biden abandoning his duties in a time of crisis.

Front page of Drudge is amazing right now.

Im curious if you have any insight into Canada at the moment. We all know the Ukraine is a shit show, but im wondering how much everyone is shitting their pants over the leaf rebellion.

So are you saying that Vlad starting the Boogaloo this weekend would be the Ultra Chaos Option of the day?

Do it, slavs. :semperfidelis:

I gotta be honest, it looks bad to us, but the Average Joe isn't really following Biden's schedule to the point where they know about this trip to Camp David.
Like, I brought up Biden's constant trips to Wilmington with my extended family and they were all surprised to learn he had spent so much time there.

The main concern stemming from the Revenge of the Leaves is that it will spark similar protests outside of Canada. Which are shaping up to occur.

Ignoring the "Everything potentially good is a glow op" bullshit, the Canadian truckers also provides the blueprint for avoiding being co-opted. And with more focus on bad actors, more eagerness to protest, and a clear blueprint and burgeoning support structure it is very likely that simialr protests could occur.

There is a reason that I said it will be optically horrible -if- something goes down and not 'right now'. If something goes down, the location of the president suddenly becomes a lot more important to your average joe.

CNN Poll: Biden Disapproval Rating Nearing 60%

(article)
The latest CNN poll conducted by SSRS from Jan. 10 to Feb. 6 showed President Joe Biden's disapproval rating reaching a staggering 58% among U.S. adults, according to results released on Thursday.

Only 41% of respondents approved of his performance. The same poll had Biden's approval at 49% and disapproval at 51% in December.

Among independents, 36% approved of Biden's job performance. For Republicans, that number was at 9%. Democratic approval for the president dropped from 94% last summer to 83% in the latest survey.

Disapprovers of the president were also asked to name a single thing he has done that they approved of. A shocking 56% said they have nothing positive to say about his term.

"I'm hard-pressed to think of a single thing he has done that benefits the country," wrote one survey respondent.

The CNN-SSRS survey is the latest in a continuing trend of Biden's plummeting approval rating.

The last time Biden's average approval rating was above water, according to FiveThirtyEight, was on Aug. 29, 2021, in the middle of the controversial U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Since then, concerns over inflation, handling of COVID-19, and further foreign policy complications have resulted in Biden's average approval reaching the lowest of his presidency on Feb. 10.

FiveThirtyEight further showed Biden's average disapproval peaking near 54% on Jan. 25, which has since plateaued as his approval rating continues to drop.

The poll surveyed 1,527 U.S. adults over one month digitally or by telephone with a live interviewer. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.3%.
I'll give Biden this he IS breaking records, just not the ones he wants
Not only is the name funny, it's also the shortest piece of legislation I've ever seen put into Congress.

I love how legislation has now become a barrage of shitposting but with a lot of fancy legal terminology

Don't worry. When midterm campaigns will start to really heat up I am certain that GOP ads will remind average joe about "in the greatest global crisis Biden went to camp davis instead of leading the nation".
He is toxic so I fully expect a turbo-large amount of ads that will point to bidens failures and then try to associate democratic candidates with it.

Current logic is because Hillary isn't president.

Which makes no sense. The executive branch determines whether documents are classified or not, and the President is in charge of the executive branch. If the President wants to declassify a document, or grant an exception for its use, who, exactly, is he supposed to ask?

She had important documents because she was Secretary of State, literally fifth in line for the presidency.
