I saw his review for Inside Out recently and, while it's fine if you don't like the movie, some of his criticisms were either explained in the movie itself (which means he didn't pay attention) or it was taken far too literally (which missed the point of the movie entirely). In the end, it came off as being a contrarian for the sake of being a contrarian. I haven't seen anything aside from this and part of his "Cool Cat" review, admittedly, so I don't know if all of his are like this, but I just feel that if you're going to criticize a movie it shouldn't have that "contrarian for the sake of it" thing going for it. I don't know if it's satire either, so if someone could fill me in on that that would be great.
(Contrarily, I do like IHE but that's because it IS satire. Not that he doesn't give legitimate criticisms.)

I'll have to agree with the PewDiePie sentiment. The overacting is definitely off-putting. I once liked his videos, but the overacting was what finally made me stop watching. As for Markiplier, I'm more tolerant of it since it comes off more as him just enjoying himself rather than pandering, though he has addressed the issue before.
 
I enjoyed PewdiePie for all for 10 seconds and then realized all he really does it scream "RAPE" and talk to random objects in the game. To his credit he's apparently stopped screaming about rape but I can't confirm that because I haven't checked. He's really a Youtuber that appeals to 12 year olds and their XD RANDUM sense of humor.
Smike's pretty shit too consider he does the same thing over and over and it's like the definition of insanity

1. Fuck Jontron, not funny, not cute, not entertaining. He obviously thinks he's so goddamned funny and pushes that on the viewer. GET ME, I'M HILARIOUS AND WITTY, HAH! Shut up, fatman.

2. Fuck Game Grumps/Steam Train/Table Flip and all associated parties, not funny and those kids kinda totally suck at gaming, who wants to watch people play crap vidya for hours on end? The animated re-works are impressive because they manage to make lame people look even lamer. Anything live-action they do is corny as fuck.

3. Hannah Hart. GUH. Can't believe nobody's brought her up yet. Like a spastic little boy with narcissisism and free reign of the kitchen, no honey, stop with the bowties, what is it with stereotypical lesbians and fucking bowties and hipster shit?

I have to put Enter on here... That, and anyone like him who obsesses over (children's) cartoons and/or anime so damn much... I have more fun finding comments (aka the last thing to take seriously with this shit!) from people tearing such shit down.

Just about all these other fuckers mentioned in the posts above me? Don't Know, Don't Care, Don't Want to deal with. Ever.

I don't think he's necessarily a contrarian but, while I'm still subbed to him, I find him to be too nitpicky and often in a humorless way. I also don't like it when he preemptively criticizes fans who would the defend a certain movie, often by saying their potential arguments in a mocking tone followed by his rebuttal (RE: Planet of the Apes review). I do like his reviews for Cyberbu//y, Megan is Missing, and M Night Shyamalan's movies, though.

Inside Gaming after the Funhaus crew left to do their own thing with Rooster Teeth. The current Inside Gaming is just terrible and it's like they're all a caricature of what the crew used to be, only they emphasize the bad parts of all of it.

Also I must 100% agree with anyone that says any game theorist channel is bad. They're all insipid and try to grasp for straws or regurgitate shit that's already known about games. What's even worse is when people think of it like fact.

On a final note, Egoraptor's channel is just unmitigated shit because he just cashes in off Game Grumps and hasn't produced an actual animation in like 2 years.

I tried watching these popular Youtubers, but did not subscribe or watched another thing they produced:

Pewdiepie, Jenna Marbles, Secular Talk (his voice and delivery is absolutely vile), and Fred (that high pitched crap gets very old, very quickly). I know there are others, but that's all I can think of right away.

Oh, and Laci Green is horrible too. A know it all that knows nothing.
