I saw his review for Inside Out recently and, while it's fine if you don't like the movie, some of his criticisms were either explained in the movie itself (which means he didn't pay attention) or it was taken far too literally (which missed the point of the movie entirely). In the end, it came off as being a contrarian for the sake of being a contrarian. I haven't seen anything aside from this and part of his "Cool Cat" review, admittedly, so I don't know if all of his are like this, but I just feel that if you're going to criticize a movie it shouldn't have that "contrarian for the sake of it" thing going for it. I don't know if it's satire either, so if someone could fill me in on that that would be great.
(Contrarily, I do like IHE but that's because it IS satire. Not that he doesn't give legitimate criticisms.)
