It was one of the weaker Louis Theroux docs but still funny. No idea how Beardson is going to live this down.

I can kind of understand it from the perspective of "well, look at all these shitlibs who hate us, you hate those guys, so surely you can get on board with our thing, right?" kind of angle but that's still asking a lot considering you only have to spend 10 minutes of hearing nick ramble on his own show to find out that at best, he's a self obsessed moron and at worst is genuinely despicable.I can't fathom being so high from huffing your own farts that you think Louis fucking Theroux is going to do a documentary on you and you're going to get a fair shake. He's like KF for normies, a guy who highlights real-life laughingstocks for others to gawk at.
I'm not sure why people expected this to be some kind of death blow to him. I think it was pretty clear Theroux was never going to go after the guy with the same kind of criticisms that people on here would make of him. I guess it works if you already dislike him or are a typical liberal-leaning Theroux enjoyer, but in either of those cases there wouldn't really be a whole lot they could shown that would have made people like that change their minds on him. Likewise, if you are a Fuentes fan or someone sympathetic to Fuentes but maybe haven't done your due dilligence in figuring out exactly what kind of shitbag he is, you'll feel a sense of vindication coming from "Look at how they're running hitpieces on us! That must mean we're doing something right!"The documentary was a disappointment. Instead of focusing on things that would actually make Nick look like the hypocritical grifter that he is (the faggotry, the LARPing as a White person/Catholic), Louie focuses on the ‘evil white nationalist’ shtick (cue ominous music). I suppose you can’t really go there since this doc is meant to appeal more to the leftist type person, but it’s a massive wasted opportunity. For shame.
Bold of you to assume he uses Tinder. Does Grindr impose a height limit?I can’t see Beardson getting any matches on tinder
Both.saying dumb shit or having gay sex?
What is funny that they only played a short clip from 3 phone calls Louis made to Beardson, he was almost begging him for more info. Beardson streamed it all. Came of as a retard, but felted Louis s bit.My take on the documentary after watching it:
Bit disappointed Louis wasn’t hard enough on Fuentes. As for Baked Alaska & Beersoy Queerly they made themselves look like total retards. Beersoy especially, especially his comments on raping Brittany Venti, losing his shit on Theroux during the interview, and him being a head shorter
Louis had one major kill shot on FuentesI can kind of understand it from the perspective of "well, look at all these shitlibs who hate us, you hate those guys, so surely you can get on board with our thing, right?" kind of angle but that's still asking a lot considering you only have to spend 10 minutes of hearing nick ramble on his own show to find out that at best, he's a self obsessed moron and at worst is genuinely despicable.

I didn’t really go into it with high hopes, since this is Louie we’re talking about. It just makes for a rather boring, predictable documentary (outside of Beardson acting like a tard). That last bit though, ugh, yes. I’m not going to PL, but it affects me personally, and you hit the nail on the head.I'm not sure why people expected this to be some kind of death blow to him. It was sort of mixed bag? It’s not the best documentary Louis ever did, I much prefer his more light-hearted takes, but even compared to his serious documentaries, like the one he did about alcoholics in Britain, it’s not as good. But it did it’s job of painting AF as unsympathetic and Nazi-lite for the general populace.I look forward to seeing the documentary myself later. Sounds either spicy or majorly disappointing. Hopefully it's decent enough.
Nah it was weak because he was unable to build a relationship with the subjects, it's the same reason why his "My Scientology Movie" was a bit of a dud.I wonder if we think it was a "bad" Louis doc because we know Nick?...
I wonder if Louis angles only work on an audience that does not know anything about the subjects. I know the BBC cut some nick stuff into that show that was out of context (particularly the montage at the start) and they clearly got trolled with some of the other stuff but the BBC decided to include it anyway because their boomer audience won't know it's a troll.
There's stuff I also would have included that Louis didn't even touch. Nicks fear of women and relationships should have been brought up, even question his sexuality with catboys.
I also think they pussied out of really questioning nick on stuff for fear of it actually being logical (because some of it is). Nicks quite smart, he does come across really well... I think the BBC cucked out of actually showing segments where Louis questions Nicks beliefs and then Nick came back with strong answers. I can understand why they didn't want to ever show this sort of thing out of fear for spreading right wing views but if you're going to do a documentary on this stuff you can't have that attitude. Louis didn't fuck around like this when he did the neo-nazi show.
She came across okay and I bet she will see more simps shortly.Venti was the token woman.
