Know what is produced in Ukraine? A lot of transport vehicles, including spacecraft. Yes, spacecraft.

They have their own space agency.

I'm waiting for aliens. Or for humans to do something blindingly stupid and try blaming it on aliens. One of those.

Actually that's a good point, most of rocket engines were built in Ukraine as were aviation engines. Not to mention that ill-fated, Soviet built, Russia's only aircraft carrier built in Micholaev.

Russians can take all those factories and sell them as scrap to China ... and then cry about starving like a bunch of snow niggers they are. (If you think that's harsh, just look at Donbas ... and all the factories that were there .... were)

Russia got cucked out of their first supercarrier when the USSR collapsed. Ulyanovsk was half finished in Mykolaiv when the ukrainians sold it. 85,000 tons with a airwing of 70.

Here is a number of articles on the situation in Ukraine, the rate at which all of this is happening leads me to believe some kind of military action could take place relatively soon:

Ukrainska Pravda: Mass cancellation of Ukraine flights from Feb. 14.

Aircraft traveling through Ukrainian airspace will no longer be insured by international insurance companies from Feb. 14, forcing flights to be grounded or canceled, according to Ukrainian publication Ukrainska Pravda.

The outlet quoted information from unnamed sources in the aviation industry.

Anatoliy Ivantsiv, head of Ukrainian insurance firm Expo, told Interfax that British reinsurance giant Lloyds announced it would temporarily cease all conflict risk insurance over Ukrainian airspace from Feb. 14.

Ukraine’s infrastructure ministry announced on Feb. 13 that it would provide “additional financial guarantees” to carriers to ensure the continuation of international routes.

“In case of a need (to do so), the government will ensure the return of all Ukrainians from abroad,” the ministry announced.

The revocation of insurance policies will likely mean that Ukrainian airlines, who lease almost all of their planes, will not be able to fly most of their fleets above Ukraine.

Dutch airline KLM cancelled all flights to Kyiv on Feb. 12, while on the same day Ukrainian carrier SkyUp was forced to divert a flight to Moldova as the leasing company which owned the plane refused to let it enter Ukrainian airspace.

This comes on the back of growing tensions along Ukraine’s borders with Russia and Belarus. Russia has stationed around 140,000 troops along Ukraine’s eastern, southern, and northern borders, with the United States government now warning that an invasion threat is “imminent.”

During a press conference on Feb. 11, U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan warned that an invasion of Ukraine could begin at any time, and would likely start with “aerial bombing and missile attacks” which threatened to “kill civilians without regard to their nationality.”

International fears of a large-scale Russian invasion now risk closing transport routes out of Ukraine. Avianews warned that Ukraine could soon become a “no-fly zone” due to the cancellation of commercial flights in Ukraine.

According to the publication, unless an agreement is made between the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure and international insurers and airlines, Ukraine will gradually be closed to air traffic.

The Ukrainian government still insists that it sees no reason to close Ukrainian airspace to commercial traffic. Advisor to Ukraine’s president’s chief of staff Mykhailo Podolyak told Reuters on Sunday that closing Ukraine’s airspace was “nonsense” and akin to a “partial blockade.”

However, on Feb. 13, the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise warned airlines against flying over the Black Sea. The state company labelled the area as “potentially dangerous” and advises aircraft not to fly over the sea’s open waters on Feb. 14-19.
US Soldiers in Ukraine Pulling Out Amid Warnings of Imminent Russian Invasion

U.S. troops in Ukraine are pulling out as U.S. officials are growing increasingly concerned of an impending Russian invasion.

160 Florida National Guard soldiers, the only known U.S. troops in the country, are being repositioned elsewhere in Europe, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said in a statement released Saturday morning.

Those troops, assigned to the 53rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, were a part of a previously planned training mission with Ukrainian forces, mostly operating far from the country's border where Russian President Vladimir Putin has amassed some 130,000 troops. U.S. troops from different units have been rotating to train Ukraine's military since 2015, with the Florida soldiers arriving in November as Russian forces were amassing.

Biden has pledged that U.S. troops will not fight in Ukraine, which is not a member of NATO. But the news comes as thousands of U.S. soldiers, alongside troops from other European powers including the United Kingdom and France, mobilize to bolster NATO's eastern flank.

The Biden administration continues to escalate its warning about the likelihood of war.

A senior State Department official told reporters Saturday that it is "past time" for Americans to leave Ukraine, saying routine embassy services, such as help with passports, in Kyiv will be suspended on Sunday as key personnel evacuate.

"It appears increasingly likely this situation is heading toward active conflict...there are limits of what we can do in a war zone," the senior State Department official told reporters.

On Friday, President Joe Biden ordered an additional 3,000 paratroopers from Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Poland. Those forces, along with the original 1,700 mobilized earlier this month, are expected to be in place within a few days. Roughly 1,000 U.S. troops with the 2nd Cavalry Regiment, a Stryker squadron based out of Germany, are in the midst of deploying to Romania.

Russia not worried about Western sanctions: ambassador

STOCKHOLM: Moscow "doesn't give a sh*t" about the risk of Western sanctions if it were to invade Ukraine, Russia's outspoken ambassador to Sweden told a Swedish newspaper.

"Excuse my language, but we don't give a sh*t about all their sanctions", Viktor Tatarintsev told the Aftonbladet newspaper in an interview posted on its website late Saturday.

"We have already had so many sanctions and in that sense, they've had a positive effect on our economy and agriculture," said the veteran diplomat, who speaks fluent Swedish and has been posted to the Scandinavian country four times.

"We are more self-sufficient and have been able to increase our exports. We have no Italian or Swiss cheeses, but we've learned to make just as good Russian cheeses using Italian and Swiss recipes", he said.

"New sanctions are nothing positive but not as bad as the West makes it sound", he added.

Tatarintsev accused the West of not understanding the Russian mentality.

"The more the West pushes Russia, the stronger the Russian response will be," he said.

The diplomat's comments come as Western nations fear Moscow is preparing an invasion of Ukraine, having nearly surrounded its western neighbour with more than 100,000 troops.

Washington has warned that an all-out invasion could begin "any day".

Tatarintsev insisted Moscow was trying to avoid a war.

"That is our political leadership's most sincere wish. The last thing people in Russia want is war."

What is notable is of course that the Ukraine-NATO issue is entirely of Russia/Putin's own making. Ukraine, broadly, was not interested in joining NATO until after the annexation of Crimea in March '14, at which point the idea of an international mutual self defense organisation became appealing:

They may as well, because they're not joining NATO after all this drama. Not a chance they'll get a unanimous vote from all 30 members, Germany and others would politely say now is not the time, try again in a decade or two.

That's why I'm pretty sure there's not going to be a war, Russia has already made its point and would be in deeper shit than they can deal with if they invade. War looks like a lose-lose situation for everybody except Lockheed Martin.

Sadly, war would be a win situation for Nancy Pelosi and the Dems. Check this out. Sounds like she wants a "wag the dog" to save the Dems' asses come November. Guess again, bitch. YOU want a war? Then YOU put on a uniform, full battle rattle, and go on the front lines. Otherwise, STFU and take your beating in November. 🖕 🖕 🖕 🖕 🖕

Germany and in particular Angel Merkel is the one that put the whole NATO idea in their heads. Everything that's gone on regarding Ukraine going back to Joe and Hunter Biden during the Obama era was about Merkel wanting to find a way to poke the bear and force lower natural gas prices, while using the US Military as her enforcers. Trump's whole slam about Germany not paying its part in NATO goes back to this. This was all a play by Germany to gain access to and control over Ukranian Energy Resources. Hmmm? Now where have I heard this plan before?

Seeing this makes me wonder, will Ukraine ever reach a breaking point that makes them go "fuck it, we're going to agree to the Minsk Accords" no matter how "damaging" it might seem to them?
Minsk accords are unfulfillable as the Russians simply tell the seperatists not to cooperate then blame Ukrainians. It’s happened multiple times to this point. Minsk agreements are a way for Russia to fuck further with Ukraine. Short of fully letting the Russians take the entirety of the Dontesk, giving up all claims to the Crimea, and crippling their military against any further Russian aggression, there’s no way to fulfill them.

minsk accords are retard memes anyway. virtue signaling by the usual suspects (germanoids and the fr*nch) who just love to hear themselves talk about peace and love and understanding all day and night.

donbass is experiencing a (foreign backed) separatist insurgency, a real armed conflict. whiny western diplomats bitching at everybody achieves absolutely nothing there.

Here are three reasons this is all dog and pony show and no invasion will take place no matter how blue the balls will become

1. The real tell tale sign is if any Russian oligarchs tightly bound to troll factories, defense ministry are evacuating their families back to Russia and closing their bank accounts. They are not. This mirrors exactly the Covid fear mongering with elites partying without masks while sheep could not visit dying grandma. Don't look at sheep, look what "shepherds" are doing.

2. It's a superficial show with deliberately publicized "holy shit" moves. Move a bunch of tanks, ok. Troops, fine. However, there is not reason to "leak" moving blood/plasma supplies if you really wanted to invade. Shit, no one needs to know, but somehow it's this big news that Russia is serious ... and so on. This is nothing but drama for the sake of drama.

3. The most active politicians in this shit show are the ones facing election real soon. Look at Macron, election in two month so the dwarf goes to talk to Moscow's dwarf. Biden got midterms only, so he isn't straining himself. Germans ... they don't give a fuck, they just had an election, they don't care about this.
