Orbiter 🏳️‍🌈🐱 Nick Fuentes / Nicholas Joseph Fuentes / der America First Pürrer / "Nick the Knife" - CatboyKami's ex. Flipped fed asset after January 6th. Groypers are pardoned for January 6th, still a fag. Kept Ali Akbar, brown muslim boy-hungry pedophile, around groypers knowing what he was. Hates white women more than blacks and jews.

Nah it was weak because he was unable to build a relationship with the subjects, it's the same reason why his "My Scientology Movie" was a bit of a dud.
Louis pussied out of doing that as in 2022 he could not risk coming across as "friends" with someone he also openly said was racist, anti-semitic, homophobic and whatever else was said...

Louis Theroux let the current climate around "platforming" and other stupid woke shit impact his work.

He's already said as much that it was a major concern of his.

The problem with Louis interviewing Nick was Nick is bright and actually handles himself well. He's confident and comes across really well. If Louis was interviewing an obvious loser that no one could connect too then Louis would not have had a problem connecting to them.

It's why he probably should have made Baked the star of the show and not Nick.

I think Beardson was to be this pathetic loser he could focus on, but he sperged out and didn’t allow Louis close to him. He did regret not trying to manhandle Beersoy in an interview, when Beersoy tried throwing him out, another missed opportunity.

Nick came off okay. Beardson came off worse than I thought he would. Goes to show, whatever else you think, that one is a political actor and the other is just some carny sideshow
Right. Beardson saying "I'm just a gamer, dude!" and with Louis saying "So that's the line you're going with?" was mildly amusing and Beersoy looking rather disingenuous. How many times has he said "nigger" on his streams?

The one major letdown is that Louis didn't use Nicks own words against him. He supposedly went through years of stream archives and he couldn't find Nick comparing himself to Hitler and saying that he hated America, basically putting himself in line with the "wignats" he chastised in the early segment. That would have been a better way to end the doc to expose Nick as a liar who snakes on others to push his own agenda. The cult angle really could have worked here and it wasn't even touched upon, bad documentary overall Louis.

I just got finished watching the documentary. It's not among Theroux's best work, but it definitely succeeded in exposing these clowns as the thoroughly unlikable, socially stunted losers that they truly are, so in that sense it satisfied. I was a bit disappointed that Louis didn't bring up some of the more embarrassing stuff about Nick and friends, although that was perhaps expecting too much.

There were various points where I worried that the documentary veered too close to sensationalizing the danger it's subject's views potentially posed rather than merely presenting them as pathetic cranks, although to the extent that the documentary did get political, I did think it made a good point of highlighting the extent to which these guys refrain from honestly addressing the explicitly racial aspects of their ideology and agenda, especially when they otherwise pride themselves on appearing unfazed by expressions of outrage towards their views.

The documentary doesn't really provide answers to some of the questions it poses, but the questions it does pose are mostly legitimate.

You'd have to have absolutely no social awareness to think that Nick handled himself well in this documentary. In every scene he came across as petulantly smug, tone-deaf, recklessly indiscreet, immature, amateurish, and fundamentally unserious. To top it off, the documentary managed to segue from his suggestion that women shouldn't have the right to vote to the revelation that he broadcasts his livestreams from his mother's basement. He presented himself as a total laughingstock.

Louis had one major kill shot on Fuentes

Near the beginning of the documentary Fuentes said he was against homosexual inter course even in private bedrooms

Louis should’ve asked Fuentes about the Catboy date, hardball him a bit and expose Fuentes for his hypocrisy. But instead he *cues spooky music* goes for the low brow “huWhite nationalist” shtick.

I wonder if we think it was a "bad" Louis doc because we know Nick?...

I wonder if Louis angles only work on an audience that does not know anything about the subjects. I know the BBC cut some nick stuff into that show that was out of context (particularly the montage at the start) and they clearly got trolled with some of the other stuff but the BBC decided to include it anyway because their boomer audience won't know it's a troll.
Documentaries are often pretty dishonest since it's easy to completely change how an audience will view some interactions by doing a bit of editing.

Charlie Brooker did a nice bit on this a few years back.

And as far as Nick and his friends, they aren't nearly as significant as Theroux or others probably imagine, but they probably are tricked a bit into thinking they are because the issue of platforming has become a hot topic with even mainstream Republicans. So they may get occasional name drops on Fox from people decrying things like Nick being put on a no fly list or people being disallowed bank accounts, making people in leftist media assume this means Republicans/Fox are now wanting to defend white nationalists. When the reality is that it's just a sign that even mainstream Republicans were coming out against these various forms of deplatforming as well as them becoming skeptical of nearly all accusations of racism from the left.

My favourite part of the doc was YOBA's pure joy at singing "Twitter is fucking gay" to the obvious bemusement of Theroux. Genuinely funny and I wish there had been more strange moments like that in the doc.

I actually thought Nick came off okay, Baked looked like a total goof and Beardson like a total pussy. Venti was the token woman.
By far the funniest moment, Baked and his friend singing along was so cringe and hilarious.
That boomer needs to stop tweeting and do a fucking stream.

One part of Nick's interview was pretty funny, when Nick started talking about how he doesn't approve of what goes on in gay bedrooms.

Louis: You were less careful on that one, that's interesting.
Nick: What do you mean, "less careful"?
Louis: There was no irony, there was less of a twinkle in your eye when you said that.

Louis pointed out how he answered differently and less passionately when it came to his views on gay sex compared to his other views.

Louis did something with this bunch that he did very well in his much earlier ”celebrity” work, which is to not challenge statements that are batshit mental and/or retarded.

Nick looks like a closet case school dropout in his parents‘ basement ranting to the brain damaged. The homophobia question was left dangling out there whilst Nick sweated heavily because his inability to accept his obvious homosexuality is so obvious it doesn‘t need pushing back on. Nick damned himself out of his own mouth, and this is why he seems to think he got something out of this. This is also a find example of why no-platforming is counterproductive: the more rope you give retards to hang themselves, the more readily they will do it.

Louis doesn’t do gotchas. If you’ve ever watched his documentary on the pedos of Coalinga, you see the MO is to let them talk until they sound like a mad retard. Mission accomplished. Even Nick has to grasp from this that he has to start keeping smarter company than Beardson.
