I think one of the biggest shockers that could come out of this is people will find out just how close to the "third world" we actually are. People seem to think "huwhite" countries are immune to this sort of thing. You hear about it happening every 5 years in some irrelevant South American country. High unemployment, high inflation, authoritarian regime, then people get tired of it and a civil war starts and people are hanged in the streets, especially the political leaders of those countries. This has been peaceful so far, but I'm sure under it all there is a violent hatred for Trudeau and his regime, and it's a powder keg waiting to blow.

the major problem is that anglo-protestant values favor killing and raping your neighbors and people on behalf of the government more than any other value system available, they're the real life golems of old. its why it was such a crazy surprise when the russians and east berlin soldiers just allowed people to tear down the wall. our experts were sure they would be just as psychopathic as our own guards. and would have gone full 1989 if it was attempted.

This is a reminder that when Trudeau first ran in 2015, his primary stated objective was to reform the first past the post voting system. He said we were going to go with a ranked ballot. It was days after he was elected that he said that he decided Canadians don't really want that.

This could end up being nothing. It could end up with our country collapsing. Either way, I've got my chickens and horses and rebellious slavic blood. What happens will happen. Just remember, if times get really tough, look into making flour from pinebark and such, like the nordic countries did in times of famine. And you can get some good nutrition out of rosehips if you make it into a tea. We've got over a million hectares of boreal forest in this frozen wasteland of a country, don't be afraid to use it as needed.
