Which is why I'm kinda skeptical that this will catch on in the US. It's now publicly known that the US government is watching. I know it's hackneyed to claim gayops, but it's hackneyed for a reason. I'm sure the glows are drawing up plans to either throw cold water on or sabotage any US convoys.

It already kind of has, but less in the way you'd think. The press won't report on it either way, though.

Instead of these actually happening directly, the bigger part is that it's leveraged a knock-on effect. The government bigwigs aren't worried about a convoy like Canada's locking down a shipping route; they're worried about a few angry truckers (which is realistically all it would take) locking down major bridge routes in and out of say, NYC. This has led to the government pre-emptively caving on these issues and rolling back the mandates hard in a desperate attempt to keep that from happening. I keep citing it, but the mere fact that Hochul did a complete 180 and ratcheted back mandates a bit is testament to how pants-shittingly scared this has made the establishment.

And while the TRUE AND HONEST believers in this shit won't break off until they have no choice, the fact that there's even a few willing to ratchet things back even a bit to save face in the short term means they aren't moving in lockstep.

I highly doubt he is, and as the situation becomes more extreme we'll probably see more of this. I mentioned it way earlier in this thread but I can't really see the police being sympathetic to the government except for the jackest of jackboots, the government has done nothing but kneecap, deride, and throw law enforcement under the bus for the past decade or so following the Trayvon Martin and Freddie Brown cases and then doubled down on it during the Floyd shit and the Summer of Love. I can't imagine that most civilian law enforcement officers are actually all that enthusiastic about clamping down on their fellow countrymen right now.
